Ah man, more late disappointment.
Had we held on then it would have put a mask over another disappointing performance. We’ve lost just two games in twelve, but the overall picture ‘feels’ a lot more negative than that at the moment.
players are performing to maximum, and tactics and chopping & changing is coming under increased scrutiny. Bowyer could do with a decent performance or two in the near future to soften a few dissenting voices.

I don’t want Bowyer out. That is a rash judgement.
If he continues playing Pratley and Watson together.
If he keeps playing this disgustingly defensive style
If he can’t find a system that’ll get us playing better football
Then that’ll change. He’s not untouchable, but he’s built up enough credit to avoid massive criticism so far.

We've been poor for a few weeks now, for the first time I'm starting to doubt Bowyer. The Williams substitution was baffling.10

I'm growing increasingly concerned about our tactics and style or play this season. I don't understand the majority of decisions being made by Bows.
I'm trying really hard to not have a go at him but he needs to sort it out ASAP because we look like a team scared of going forward.
I hope Williams is injured because if that was a tactical sub then it's one of the worst I've seen for a long, long time.9 -
Let's just make sure Pratley Gunter and Watson play 90mins every week whilst we rest the youngsters.

That was absolutely shocking once again. I appreciate that with Tues-Sat games we have less time to prepare but what are we doing on the training pitch. Starting to think Bowyer picks names out of a hat to decide who plays. Shrewsbury are a terrible side, at least with Burton and MK Dons I actually admired some of what they did, Shrews are a poor side who I think will go down.

Change the formation. We desperately need some width and start less negatively. We should not be setting up against Shrewsbury as defensive as we did.
The Williams decision was awful. I hope for Bowyers sake he was injured. The man did more than Gilbey and JFC. Washington was struggling the whole game, would have made infinite more sense to sub him. With this and the comments towards the fan after last game he’s losing the plot4 -
Our scrappy goal might have papered over the cracks for a minute there, but Shrewsbury more than deserved the draw. We were absolutely dreadful. Again.
The game was best summed up when Maatsen, one of the few showing some urgency, sprinted with the ball down the left into their final third and passed it to Pratley, who turned around and hit a 60-yard pass back to Amos.
(Why do we need Pratley & Watson against Shrewsbury, who are second from bottom?)
There’s no style of play, no movement, no fluidity, no width, no ideas. We're playing non-football. And as for performances, too many players losing the ability to pass it 5-yards, or control the ball. It’s so painful.
What has happened to our game?

We all know Williams is a confidence player, now seems to conintually knock his confidence and then wonder why he’s not in good form8

All gone well since Bowyer got the players together on the training ground for three weeks rather than playing matches.2

didn't deserve to win - bowyer has nobody to blame but himself - he needs to have a good think about the way he is setting these teams up - i want him to do well but am losing faith and have been for a while now11

A shit game, where we took the lead with a shit deflection, and ended with a shit penalty to share the points.
On the bright side, at least we didn't lose otherwise this place would go into meltdown ...1 -

Bowyer invited Shrewsbury to have a go at us with the ridiculous substitution of Johnny Williams . What was he thinking??

Really falling out of love with Bowyer's brand of football. We never lose games by much, but we never win games by much either - and it's frustrating to watch performances like that week in week out.
With the quality of players we have we shouldn't have to play rigid defensive football.
When was the last time we really dominated a team? I can't remember.22 -
Fans and Players alike need to learn to respect other teams at this level
We went on a great run at one point in October, it showed what we could achieve and there were times like against Fleetwood where we weren't just papering over the cracks - For some reason we've all returned since Gillingham thinking that we've got a god given right to win this league. Its not as costly if the fans want to continue thinking that but the players certainly need to stop
Enough of the shit, thinking its only Burton, its only Milton Keynes, its only Shrewsbury
We should be beating these teams blah blah blah... We're at the same level for a bloody reason so the players especially, get used to it and quickly else we're going to be down here for a lot longer than what we want to be again!!!25 -
No tactics on display AFKA players look like they have never met each other before - literally no forward movement - if we got a pen I wouldn't be surprised if we tried passing it back!7

Bowyer to blame. I dont want him sacked but we do seem light in the coaching department. Time for an experienced coach to help out
that substitution was baffling!!! Matthews for Gunter and we might not have conceded the penalty.It was so last season, inviting the pressure. Williams was our outlet, keep the ball, win fouls, slow the game and relieve the pressure!!8 -
