  • We’ve not been our usual self for last 4 games and that needs to be rectified asap. 5/12 doesn’t sound great, but the fact we’ve been so poor and still ended up with 5 points is hopeful going forward, if the team can get back to looking like a team again.
  • Blame the fans for this then Bowyer.
    Absolutely fucking shite.
    Good night everyone
Shrewsbury fans made a lot more noise today than ours ever did on Wednesday and that was from the first minute!!
  • I’m going to sit back, read this thread, and see which individual has completely lost the plot by Sunday morning
  • people calling for bowyers head as if we’re not top 6 with a game in hand ffs give your head a check
Teams below us have two games in hand, we are shit and have been for 70% of this season.

If I was losing £50m a  year I'd want some answers as to what the fuck we are actually doing on the pitch.

  • Unacceptably bad performance which we deserved absolutely nothing from.  I like Bowyer but he is too set in his ways and we look completely uncoached.
  • It is depressing how Bows doesn't appear to be learning from his tactical mistakes.

We can all see how sitting back and playing defensively just invites pressure and ends up losing us points.

    Why can't he?

I'd also be interested to learn if anything has changed regarding the positivity that we had in the camp a couple of months ago because many of the squad can play a lot better than they have been in the last few matches.  Hmm....
  • Absolutely 100% Bowyers fault only time we looked dangerous was when Willian was on, he is not a defender definitely should have pushed him on taken Washington off.

    Boogle is shit.
  • The last 4 minutes we lost all composure & just lumped clearances up into the air that meNt they came back at us. Should never of let that last ball bounce - both Gunter & Famewo backed away from it & then Gunter makes a reckless challenge.

    Fair result. Two shit teams.
We were lucky to get a point imo, Shrewsbury, despite being shit, deserved all 3.

5 points from a possible 15, with every performance being sub par. Not good enough.

Truly pathetic way to lose a match. Awful performance. Only upside were the CBs and Amos.
I know a last-kick-of-the-game penalty makes it seem like a defeat but please pay attention!
  • Agreed Kentish
This is the same crap we had last season. No real flow, too cautious, passing poor or passing back, vision - none.
On paper this is a good side but not being utilised bad a good side.

Didn’t actually lose to be fair..

  • Bringing on a defender was fair enough  but it should have been Washington going off  he barely touched the ball second half whereas Williams was fresh and had already been part of the goal build-up.
But it was first Morgan who ballsed up the clearance that led to the goal, you can't blame Bowyer for that, just sloppy play.
Until we get some speed and width in the team these ponderous performances are likely to carry on

I think we are playing really poorly at the moment and haven’t clue what our best team is. I don’t particularly like out tactics in the last month either.

But the speed at which our fans turn on our manager alarms me. It always does, but even more so with this one.
It's been three years and we've played positive, attacking football maybe four times total in that period?

We didn't actually lose. Though it feels like it I grant you.
  • Well 1 point is better than none, BUT that was another abysmal performance to add to Gillingham, Burton and MK Dons!! We were lucky to get a point and on another day we could have lost 3-1, fortunately Amos made some great saves.
There is a pattern developing and its not a good one, and what the hell must Willimas be thinking; subbed after coming on as a sub. I fully support LB, but he needs to use this week to sort things out and for god sake stop chopping and changing the side! I understand injuries will play there part, but when was the last time we played the same starting 11 2 times on the trot!!
As I always say "What's not to like"? Well performances like that is the very easy answer.....it was poor from start to finish....end of.

Wait we had Willian on? No wonder we had to sub him back off...
  • Be interesting to see what Bowyer says about the Williams sub. I won't slaughter him for that yet as for all we know Williams might have felt something or taken a knock.
  • Can just hear Bowyer bleating in post-match interviews re managing the game.We were directionless, there's no leadership on the pitch. If you ask me,and you didn't,he is feeling the expectations now from having a good squad but of an owner who is expecting success. I think Bowyer will be found out pretty soon and TS will have a decision to make. I'd have truly said that even if we had won as that was another decidedly drab and uninspired performance. He's learnt nothing from last season's late concessions of goals and I am now sure he has no idea how to prevent it. Certainly, against a very average team, you must have greater effort and desire to keep the three points. I don't recall MK just tossing points away in the week. I am not bothered where we are in the table, the future is what concerns me as it's the same mistakes time and time again.

Jogged off alright and a couple of sprints seconds before being hooked.
