Harmony.
It's a beautiful word...say it.
Let's get some harmony back.1 -
We won’t go up with Bowyer in charge and a salary cap .
If the cap goes he’ll have a chance , if he’s still here .
I believe we have a squad good enough to reach the play offs but to do that now will take a good effort due to the underperforming so far .

Cap or no cap the question is has he lost it?
No he has not in my opinion and fans questioning salary and pay offs, is not only rude its also disrespectful.
Let's all put our yearly salary up if it's OK to discuss.
Bow will walk before he is pushed trust me. He don't need the money0 -

Rochdale (A) (18th place)
Gillingham (H) (13th place)
Fleetwood (A) (15th place)
Burton (H) (24th place)
Blackpool (H) (12th place)
The above are all winnable games against opposition below us in the table (current standings as of today). Some may say anything less than ten points and Bowyer’s fate will be sealed. The test starts on Saturday.3 -

I noticed that Chelsea seem to be playing well again. I don’t think Frank was doing a bad job but the change seems to have released fresh energy into the players.
Spurs on the other hand remind me of us. Surely it’s only a matter of time for Jose?0 -
Bowyer is here because of location location location imo suits his and his family ....
To pull him away from here he’d need it to be monetarily worthwhile .
If Charlton upped sticks and moved to Birmingham I’d doubt he’d be flying up the motorway to be with us .

Sure we have lots of players that have played higher or are more famous but it doesn’t mean they are right now better than Lincoln’s players.
It’s not just about signing the most famous players Gunter or Watson for example. Most of our players are either too old or too young it’s also about combinations and specific attributes among many things.
I find it insulting to Lincoln and Accrington who have built young hungry teams over a period of time through good planning that our fans just assume our team should be better7 -

Lincoln’s squad is predominantly made up of young loans (of which Bowyer has had just the same opportunity to make use of.... better arguably) and journeymen. Hats off to the manager for uncovering them and getting them to perform. It’s not an insult to them - it’s a compliment to the job they are doing.
THIS IS THE POINT.
Lee Bowyer, Chris Powell, Curbs, whoever - thats what I expect our manager to do.
Appleton is doing a better job than Bowyer.
Anyway - Lincolns line up for their last game v Doncaster:
1) Alex Palmer - Goalkeeper who has spent his career knocking around league 2. Amos is proven at a high level.
2) Timothy Eyoma. 0 appearances for Spurs. Well within our budget. We got Maatsen, Smith, Levitt who are all from a similar big club background. I would argue with one of them being a full international already we compare well to anyone on loans we have secured.
3) Adam Jackson - about as average as you can get. 'Whelmed' would be the common used word if we had signed him I expect.
4) Joe Walsh - signed from MK Dons. Well we got their player of the year!
5) Tayo Edun - seems to have a decent youth CV but no reason we couldnt have gone for him.
6) Liam Bridcutt - the player that best compares to a Watson style signing, with not quite the same pedigree. Not wanted by Forest.... come good at Lincoln
7) Conor McGrandles - another MK Dons player who obviously wasnt rated quite as high as Gilbey in the POTY voting
8) Jorge Grant - 17 appearances for Forest in 6 years. Kicked around the lower leagues on loans otherwise
9) Brennan Johnson - 19 year old on loan from Forest. 1 cap for Wales. We get a young welsh international from Man Utd still learning his trade. They get the same from Forest.
10) Morgan Rogers - 18 year old. No league appearances. At Man City. They dig him out..... we get similar but half of them dont make half the impact
11) Tom Hopper - look at the strikers LB has bought on. Shame he didnt have the riches of Lincoln to get in a player who has scored 10 in 30 for Southend before he joined.
The overall squad is also massively lacking in depth compared to ours.
With the resources we have had, and the players who came in, there is no possible way to argue we are underachieving. It’s unarguable.
We can’t bury our heads in the sand and roll out the poor old Bowyer and his hands tied behind his back narrative as THAT is what is disrespectful to Lincoln.8 -

Dreamland is in Margate, Scoham ... not SE7.Just find the cycle some go through when judging players and squads amusing. They look at the relatively big names in our squad and assume they’re better than the players we’ve never heard of at a smaller club like Lincoln.
In their eyes there’s no way Lincoln wouldn’t jump at the chance to swap one their midfielders for Ben Watson.
Yet when we sign players who were at a smaller club the perception instantly changes, for example Smith and Jaiyesimi. They are no longer seen as nobodies at Swindon, they’re exciting young players.
If Watson joins Swindon or Lincoln in the summer he’ll be seen as a poor player.
I agree with you - judge players and teams on performance, not reputation. Lincoln and Accrington are doing well, especially considering the size of their clubs. Clearly they’ve recruited well and probably have a few players Gallen will be keeping an eye on, thinking ahead to the summer.4 -

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/lincoln-city/top-scorers
Looking at his career I’d say he’s a player on the up.
A season and a half in League 2, in terms of games at least.
Then half a season in Luton’s promotion winning squad before dropping to League 2, presumably for game time.
He then came back to League 1 and going off the stats has really kicked on this season.
No signing is guaranteed to work out but in trying to bring in proven quality I think we’ve ended up signing too many players who are going backwards. Losing that bit of pace or fitness can make a big difference, a solid Championship player like Gunter can suddenly look average in League 1.
All those proven players we signed were available for a reason, especially so late on in the window.
I hope we have a very different strategy in the summer. Get the balance right and we should have a younger squad with the majority being players who could grow with the club over several years.

Some managers are naturally awful or not good enough for a club of our size. We've had plenty of those.
In regards to bowyer. No, he never "lost it".
He highly influences what will be happening on the pitch but he obviously doesn't have complete direct control over results and our performance.
Apart from the play off final, we've had an awful couple of years in regards to the mountain of shocking ridiculous off field problems.
The club is now no longer going to fold. Football is not going to just end tomorrow.
Even if we have been underperforming and Bowyer's made some evidently poorly judged decisions.
Just be patient here and allow us to regenerate!
Time is always the healer. Good things will come.

Half time against Rochdale at The Valley, Bowyer needed to be sacked on the spot. It's all gone very quiet.
