Wimbledon fans expect promotion, not sure they get it with him at the helm, unfortunately
I think signing Gunter to play as a wing back in a 5 man defence, it's not going to happen.
  • My main issue with the football under JJ was it was pretty awful to watch.

Just watched this on You Tube. Frightenly bad refereeing! Imagined he saw something that didn't happen.
  • An interview with Jackson today on the EFL show, as part of a feature on Wimbledon's community scheme

Yes. And on top of that last season we were the dirtiest team in League 1 with 106 bookings and 4 red cards. That's around 2.5 cards per match.

And yet this year, so far, we've had a total of 4 cards in 5 league games. (If you don't include Garner's yellow!) That's some difference.

As Paolo Maldini said, "if I have to make a tackle, then I have already made a mistake". (Probably the greatest defender of all time averaged 0.56 tackles per game.)
  • Jacko will be one of the studio pundits for next Saturday's ITV EFL show.
  • Johnnie Jackson continues to be impressive in the kick, bollock and bite of League 2.
