Yeah that makes sense, don’t recognise any of the names on that list.
Not Charlton related but I thought this kid went to City? Watford have just signed him for £125k!!!! We can’t compete with premier league wages they’ve offered him. Would try and get him on loan.
Seems more and more that good lower league players are skipping right past L1 and The Championship and going straight to the PL. They get higher wages and then get shipped right off to the lower leagues again on loan.

Home Grown Rule is probably having a hand in that.
That and the fear of a competitor picking up a once in a lifetime talent that you ignore

Man City deal fell through.
I read Manchester City deal was for 10 million. 125 k is shy of that by a bit.
Don’t think it was ever that high. Failed the medical at city is what I heard anyway.
edit: found the convo with my Rochdale supporting brother in law

I heard that City gave them some money to fix the pitch and the insinuation was that he would go there in return I don't think it was down to the medical as it was never a "done deal".
Read the Exeter fans forum on Randell Williams (yes I have that much spare time haha) and it does sound a fairly promising signing if the links are true.
Can play either side but prefers the right to cut in on his left foot, apparently his right foot is useless which can make him easy to defend against. Had a blinder apparently in 2019/20 but the injury made him have a quiet 20/21 season. A few of their fans seem to think he came off the boil a bit because a transfer fell through and he wanted to be back in London, so the home sick reasoning for a footballer.
I personally like the sound of it, young enough to improve, has flair, versatile and he may find his form again with us.
On a side note Joel Randall sounds the real deal, apparently a lot smarter and more to his game, certainly wouldn't mind both for the Adkins rebuild

No worries. Very little, if any 'info' on here at the moment is Charlton related.

Probably nothing in it but Jonny Williams just posted an Instagram story meeting Jason Pearce and one of the physio's with "guess who's back" playing in the background. Believe he only signed to the end of the season with Cardiff?

He probably spent a lot of time together on the injury table

I love those "throw away comments", just enough to get people going

I find the disrespect shown to Watson staggering. This is a guy who has spent best part of 10 years in the Premier League, knows how to play the big game, scoring the winner in the Cup Final, and surely would be a great role model for the young team we're looking to build. Yes, he and Pratley together last season brings back horrific memories of overly defensive home games that ultimately cost us a play off place, but we need some experience in the squad, and the guys we want to buy won't have it. Would expect Nige to be leveraging his, Gunter's and Pearce's experience as players to see games out, whilst we build an attacking side that takes games to teams.

Someone at Palace made a bit of a rick in letting him go

But fair.
as I said : https://www.accringtonstanley.co.uk/news/2021/may/interview-billy-kee-was-instrumental-in-harrys-move/
He would have been closely monitored by the club.
