I have no idea who these young Scandinavian player are tbh and also have no idea if they would come to any league one club. However I do think I'm a pretty realistic bloke and hopefully dont allow the rose tinted glasses to affect my judgement and I honestly think we will have the pick of players who think league one is an option. What other club in the league can offer the potential we can now that we have a sensible owner, manager, coaching set up etc. That's an honest question what other club in league one has all of that ?
Sunderland have a new rich owner and are a far bigger club than us. I think we are undoubtedly a pull though and dont disagree that we can win a battle with most other clubs in the division. Attracting players where championship clubs are interested is completely different though.
Agree but not sure Sunderland are that much bigger and we are in London.
End of the day money talks so we'll see how much the new Sunderland owner, and ours, is willing to spend.

Sorry for triple post but I like the sound of this. I am a bit of a stat worshiper and according to whoscored and that article he seems to be a bit of a midfield destroyer. Just turned 26 and could be a good Pratley replacement with a bit more movement about him.
The player I would really like though and I hope Gallen and Adkins earmarked him as our new midfield general is Panutche Camara. Young, mobile centre mid, didn't pick up many bookings for the role he played and played most of Plymouth's games.
There's so many good players in league 1 in all honesty, I don't mind looking at league 2 but we could build a squad strong enough to go up and stay up from this league
Camara caught my eye as well, was the home league game? or the Cup? or maybe both? The other one sounds good as well.
Does anyone rate Ryan Edwards Burton Albion? I can't remember him at all from the games against us. Saw he is out of contract at Burton but also double POTY both from fans and players.And Burton were on an incredible run under JFH.
Kane would be a decent signing but he's not a massive upgrade on Matthews - if we are linked it's probably a precaution because they believe there is risk in Matthews signing
A lot of these are probably players that Gallen and team genuinely have sounded out - but on a purely provisional basis. While negotiations with the likes of Amos and Matthews are underway it's seeing what could be available should those fall through.
It's not that we are in the active recruitment of these players yet - just testing the field to see what's available.
