There are still unresolved issues to keep this thread alive
Who will be in the squad we submit to the EFL, as we will have to leave out players? Will Ronnie made the squad? Will we loan any players out to the NL?
Most importantly, what is going to happen in the all-important January window? Presumably TS is going to make good on his statement that he is "going to really splash the cash. We're looking at several million pound signings". The next 5 months are crucial.
I could see one of Dobson or Clare going on loan in January if they’re not getting game time and JFCs recovery is on track.
Why Dobson done more then enough to be a first team choice and Clare can play number of roles
No he hasn’t. Excluding the Papa John’s game, which doesn’t count.
If Dobson who was MOM v Wigan had not been taken off we would not have lost that game that was match changing moment .. and he was one of the better players v Sheff Wed
Why don’t you say “ in IMHO we would not have lost that game” it would make you look a lot less like a boring know all.
Where’s Ronnie Schwartz? Club needs to make a statement imo. Him being left out for one reason or another is fine, but to not be in the squad, and he has 2 years left to run on his contract.

Tumbleweed is actually quite interesting. Doesn’t it uproot itself when it’s very dry, and then rolls around until ideally settling somewhere a bit more moist, at which point it takes root again?
That's quite an interesting document, as it shows which clubs are relying more on youngsters.
Wimbledon for example have only 15 over 21s, Leyton Orient and Colchester 13, and Cardiff surprisingly only 18
Sunderland have 21, but it includes Will Grigg which is surely wrong?
We have one of the oldest squads on paper although this won't be 100% accurate as it doesn't include a lot of our youth players whereas it might be including them for other teams.
Shows L1 is a young man's league and our permanent signings made are of a good age to kick on. The average squad age in the champ seems to be a year higher and again the premier league average another year higher.

True, but it's a fair reflection of the age profile of our squad, as we do have a number of over 30s in our squad, with the likes of Watson, Gunter, Pearce and Schwartz being joined by Arter, Souare and Henderson

Just spotted Ronnie is on there.
Number 16?
GK: MacGillivray, Henderson
CB: Inniss, Lavelle, Famewo, Pearce
LB: Purrington, Souaré
CM: Arter, Watson, Gilbey, Morgan, Clare, Dobson
AM/W: Lee, Jaiyesimi, Kirk, Leko, Blackett-Taylor
ST: Stockley, Washington, Davison, Schwartz
Elewere can develop in U23s along with Clayden and Barker.
Dempsey will have to go out on loan. As I am sure there will be handful of others who go out on loan too.
Forster-Caskey not considered until January when he should be much closer to being back fit.
Looking quite strong.
I need answers now!
