Not the result anyone here wanted, though our performance was much better at times than in the previous few matches. But when things went against us, even little things, we capitulated. Their equaliser came out of nowhere—only three minutes after Stockley’s opener gave us the lead—after Dobson abandoned his post in an attempt to secure a loose ball he had no hope of winning. Their second goal was similarly against the run of play, providing a gut punch from which we couldn’t recover.
We’ve conceded four goals in two games, all of which should have been avoided. Adkin’s wanted to build this season on clean sheets, but we don’t look anything solid enough to live up to that aspiration. We’re devoid of ideas and fragile, which is a bad combination. Without significant resources I can’t see where the spark we need will come from. And it’s frustrating to see good players floundering.

Somehow, we are worse than the team that finished last year.
TS has came in like a whirlwind and his comments have set expectations that he has not even come close to backing up. I couldn’t care less about Charlton TV or Wayne Mumford, I care about the team on that pitch. And that team finished the game playing a child at centre back, a shit right back at left back and were totally overran in midfield AGAIN.
They finished the game attacking us, did we even have a shot on target second half? Scrap that, how many shots on target have we had in 4 games this season.
Mid table team at best. 4 games in and nothing has changed.
Same old Charlton. This TS fairytale will take a 180 very very soon.
Totally dreadful to watch
We needed a complete overhaul this transfer window and guitar boy has failed miserably.
It's going to be another painful season in league one I'm afraid.
And Jaiyesimi got nowhere with him.
1 TS has let us down.
2 The LB fan club, scenting blood, will make a resurgence.
3 Wait til the loans come in
4 Wait til the Jan window.
5 It's Ben Watson's fault.
Need a Cullen type ball winner and a striker.
oh, and it’s crap footy to watch too.
That's about all I have in my notes under "Second half positives."
We've scored in two consecutive games and remain unbeaten at home in the league.
We're a work in progress but I remain confident we will win a game at some point.
