From the point Lee went off, we were outclassed. Outclassed by Lincoln and it would be a travesty had they not won it. If that is acceptable to Sandgaard then were is he taking us? Adkins has to go tonight.
It isn't even a no brainer. It is a few notches above that FFS!5 -

All I’m going to say is what a load of shit again we can’t pass tackle take corners to many shit player’s and fuck off adkins0
-
I think I support Elliott Lee more than Charlton atm1

At this point I'll be happy to just stay up and write this Season off. Adkins position has become untenable. He clearly doesn't have the first clue how to sort this mess and we are over a quarter of the way through the season sitting in the drop zone. The sad thing is I have become so detached from the club lately and haven't looked forward to our games for a while.
Sangaard needs to act now or risk the fan base turning on him aswell.7 -
Adkins out.
We cannot keep getting opportunities to work on ourselves (int'l breaks) and losing the next games.
Something is far from right, done looking for reasons to support Adkins, it clearly isn't working. Nice guy and all but not for me.
Wonder if we'll see Schwartz returning under our new manager 🤣3 -
I can tell I’m going to keep thinking we can’t possibly go down and suddenly it’ll be Christmas and we’re seven points adrift.8
-
You can usually take one positive from a performance, but I don't think there was a single positive in that game.
Every team we face manage to pass it around us, move around us... They make it look easy. But we can't do it. We go sideways across our back four and the very first ball forward, we're under pressure and losing the ball.
1. Why can't we press like that?
2. Why can't we pass like the opposition does?
All our attacking players today were dreadful. Nobody had a good game.
No excuses for Adkins now. This is his best eleven, he says they're fit now, and that was one of the most clueless performances I've seen in the past few years. Sadly I don't think TS will sack him until it's far too late.32 -
The worry is who will Roddy advise TS to bring in next ?ricky_otto said:For me that was the straw that broke the camels back. That performance was an absolute disgrace.Sandgaard needs to grow a pair and get rid of Adkins today. How long is he going to accept this shit?
we haven’t played for 10 days, yet look so unfit.Absolutely sick and tired of the shit. that gets served up every week.Nobody played well today, but Kirk…..that was a shameful performance for a professional footballer.9 -

I’m in disbelief as to how this season is panning out, I was possibly as excited to get my season ticket ( and my sons 1st ever) as I have been for years and yet probably feel as disappointed to have done so pretty much ever!!!. Feeling really done over, which I never have done however bad in the past. We really need to flush out the coaching, management that we have right now!!. I’m just disgusted and gutted at what we are seeing. I feel so sorry for those that are still going away to watch this shitstorm. Respect to you all for doing so.18

mate I agree but I'm at a loss to try and think of a way to show our collective displeasure with Nigel at the helm.Addick_8 said:

Though I'm not a fan of protests after all we have been through in recent years with RD but maybe something like that might push TS to do the right thing.DDOUBLEE said:I've said it multiple times and I'll say it again, he won't be sacked.1 -
I did wonder if Curbs had been sounded out about a job in the football side after today’s CAtv prematch.
he had said he wanted to get to the cup game hoping to see the youngsters and ones who could make a step up etc3 -
Think we need some actual leadership now, rather than talk. Get in a CEO. Get in a good, progressive young manager with good coaching pedigree, give them their own coaching setup and the players they want. Use the rest of the season to let them establish a proper modern, tactical gameplan (the kind we see when we get dicked over by clubs with 1/10 of our budget), and then furnish that team with young, ambitious, athletic players that suit the system (we are paying the price for neglecting both fullback positions in the previous window.)25

Except he just pays people to play stuff for him, the mans a blagger.mistrollingin62 said:charlton_hero said:No tweet from Sandgaard yet...

Pretty dreadful again. Performance was so poor. Don't see anything that encourages me to think we can turn this around. Time to change before its too late.0
-
I'd normally be re-arranging meetings at work Tuesday so I could get out at 4:30 for the game. Instead I'm really pleased I have a 4:30-5:30pm meeting and therefore won't have to go!2

Need 5 wins by the new year or we’ll be losing touch completely.
Jon Fortune talking plainly. Refreshing.
can’t be arsed to stay up for Nigel’s match report. Which is all he does.5 -

I fear the worse.
So much bollox spouted around "why would you resign". I tell you why. Respect. Respect for the club, the players & the fans. Most importantly Respect for yourself.
Wycombe away showed that he had lost the fans & nothing since has made it any different.
He needs to go this evening.8 -
Another otherwise lovely day out ruined by the cruelest accident of birth.23
-
Well just in the car on the way back , the fans were absolutely quality behind the team , but we looked lost in second half just giving the ball away and seemed to have no game plan0
-
Couldn't have put it better myself. There is not a single redeeming feature about this team right now.ValleyGary said:No fight. No desire. No passion. No confidence. No arsehole. No clue.
If I could sack them all including Adkins and the coaching staff I would.
Absolutely zero connection to anyone Charlton over the last two years.
How do we look so unfit in mid-October? It's one step forward two steps back. I can't get my head around how badly some of these players are underperforming, we should be so much better than what we're seeing.
Sandgaard can't sack the team (unfortunately) so clearly Adkins has to go, and pretty fucking soon!7 -
Every one of our players was outclassed in skill and desire by every one of the Lincoln players. It can't just be the manager's fault.6
-
I saw some green shoots in recent weeks but today’s game has dropped napalm all over those shoots.I can take the defeat if I think we’ve played okay and are showing signs of developing a way of playing and improving but that was absolute dog shit. We have all the hall marks of every Charlton side I’ve ever seen get relegated and I just cannot believe that this group of players are that bad they are League One relegation fodder.I’ve never called for a Charlton manager to get sacked and I won’t do it here, but I can’t make any case for keeping Adkins at the moment other than blind hope it’ll get better.7
-
Only potentially good thing from NA is that Lee is 'ill' so may be back soon. We have nobody else with his skill and energy to link midfield and attack.0
-
Adkins saying we should have had a stonewall pen before their second, and suggesting the second itself was offside. Poor excuses or frustratingly accurate?3
-
Nothing is working. Absolutelt Nothing at all..Now well past time for a big shakeup. From the top down. Can't see anything apart from a mid table hard scramble. Or relegation.

We are a broken football club - is that ott to say?
I just cannot understand how we always turn in worse performances after a break. This happened during the Bowyer era (towards the end), but I didn't expect it this season at all.
Lee getting injured after no game for 14 days just felt all so typical Charlton. No doubt we will move on and talk about the schedule/need to rest players/it's a squad game. Awful.2
