I told my mum when she bought a new kitchen to get the same people you bought the kitchen from to assemble it. Because if something goes wrong, who is to blame? Both sides will blame each other, which they did! Same with a manager not picking the players he needs. It is a crazy system with no accountability and it may be sensible to buy loads of wide players who may go up in value, but we may have needed other positions for a better balance.

Gonna point out again as I think this is so so important and I've asked the question on both the CAST webinar with Roddy and Gallen and directly to Thomas via email (assuming its him of course) twice. Who introduced/recommended Ged Roddy to you (Thomas). He will not answer this yet he is more than happy to answer other stuff that is more sensitive on a personal level.
Roddy definitely should go. If that summer of shit was his idea of building a team he is an idiot. Adkins has probably lost too much credibility to carry on.

So it turns out that about half an hour after the woman at Newark Northgate insisted there were “no more trains from this station tonight” a train mysteriously materialised out of nowhere and is pulling into London about now.
Just as the train I’m on leaves Nottingham. Absolute ****s.
Currently in Nottingham with the trains being fucked. That was a truly heartless performance, up there with the worst I've seen. Can't even get worked up about it anymore. Please get rid. How he can say we were good in the first 20. Fuck right off, complete delusion.

Brilliant celebrations when we scored but the performance was very poor overall. Still think the formation is a massive problem. We don’t create enough but then get overrun in center mid and down the flanks. Why does he insist on 433 it just doesn’t work? I think cos we did ok at the end of last season lining up that way he still thinks it will come good but we are losing to bang average league one teams week in week out.

Thing is it's not the first time we have made a bang average team look like world beaters this season, we certainly have a very benevolent streak in us for sure..
How have we become so distant from the team that finished last season so strongly.
Davison, Kirk and Leko might as well not have played.
Gilbey’s strengths are wasted sitting in front of the back four next to Arter.
Why put Kirk in the middle. If you must bring on CBT, then move Leko into the middle as at least he will try and turn and make something happen. Kirk had about 2 touches in the first half.
Both wingers sat on top of the full backs, means we never break quickly, and then we go back to slow ponderous knocking it around the back 5. Someone like Famewo will go on a risky run, win a free kick in their half, and 5 seconds later it’s back with the keeper for more of the same.
Famewo put a couple straight out of play, and Lavelle doesn’t look comfortable bringing the ball out, but they’re about the only two to come out with much credit for me.
Great atmosphere, rubbish game, poor result. Adkins out.
Adkins is like a DIY home mechanic. Started with a bit of a problem, but now his car is in bits, all over the floor and he hasn't got a clue how to put it back together, but like most men, he refuses to admit he's in way over his head and is not up to the job............
