Still no Denly (despite him taking social media pictures on the coach to Leeds), Bird now injured and Qadri left out too but Leaning is back along with Stewart, Quinn and Linde added to the 13 man squad
Before the 100 arrived, the 50 over matches would have been played alongside the red ball matches at the start of the season, avoiding this situation where white ball players have no competitive domestic matches

It is an absolute shocking state of affairs that players who can't get in the Blast will, potentially, have a maximum of two games between the 22nd May and 11th July.
Yorkshire won toss and have put us in. We've left out Muyeye and Stevens with a debut for Linde. Not surprised about Stevens given his form with the ball.
The three big questions regarding the two left out, Muyeye and Stevens, are this:
(1) Who will be carrying the drinks? (2) Who will be the sub fielder? (3) Which one of the two is a scratch golfer and likely to be seeking out suitable courses over the four days?
Crawley really has a serious technical issue against the moving new ball. He takes an off stump guard - something that players who aren't confident about leaving the ball seem to do these days - but, instead of playing in the "V" with the full face of the bat, he is looking to play the ball through midwicket and as he is only showing the edge to the ball so, if it does move, he ends up missing it completely and LBW. He was out to Abbott in the last game doing exactly the same thing.
Crawley now has less than a hundred runs in five innings in the CC this season. There's no point blaming pitches for that because, as Compton and others have demonstrated for and against us, they have been very good.
The irony is that should Denly return, because of Crawley's central contract, it will be someone else who has to be dropped even if he doesn't get any runs in the 2nd innings.
Pakistan white ball international, 40 odd caps Very little first class cricket to date
Ah, thanks, BM.
Probably thinks it's charity week !
Haris Rauf was only really "discovered" at the age of 25 in 2019 playing club cricket in Australia! He was out there when one of the bowlers got injured in the Big Bash and he got called up to play. He was an immediate success and as a direct result of that he got called up for the Pakistan T20 squad shortly after. He's only played half a dozen First Class games but is another on the Pakistan production line of lightening quicks!
