  • It was always a ridiculous signing. If the bloke could stay fit, he wouldn't be in League One.

    But oh so predictable
  • Has he gone on a marathon bender?
  • Frustrating all round. Just a bit of dialogue around the injury would be good. I think we all want Chuks to be fit, chipper and one of our main men.

On this note….has McGrandles been spotted back in training with the squad?

And would anyone remember what he looks like?

    Any news on Chuks?

Is he fit, and raring to go?

dialogue around our injuries has always been shit - its always either platitudes or complete radio silence.

Reminds me a bit of Vetokele - remember when he first turned up and teared defences up then got injured and just kinda disappeared for a year. Youga as well. Seems like the same thing with Chuks.

    He's the cameraman, new role
Wart on trigger finger, out for the season
  • Are we talking season 22/23, 23/24 or both?

I completely understand this view as a fan, but where is the line drawn between the club giving the fans an update on the players injury and the player as an employee having a right to have his medical details kept private?

  • He’s not still injured is he? He had a hamstring strain 4 months ago

Not seen in any of the photos from the training ground so assuming he is.

not assuming anything, but i hope the club are engaging with Chucks on mentality for now over fitness. I think the poor guy is so worried about hurting himself that it is making things worse.
Seriously needs to be thinking about retirement and getting the insurance money. I’m assuming he’s still not fit. If I’m wrong apologies Chuks.
  • the invisible man is still getting paid .. will we ever see him take the field this coming season ?
  • I think he got injured in March/April.  He’s had a couple of months to recover already.

I don’t think this will ever be fixed, and I think we’ll reach the point where he’ll have to retire.

I can’t see the club funding specialist further research on him, given how we are at the moment.  I expect they’ll just do what they can with the physios we have and hope for the best.

if we had more money, and we were on the up, perhaps you would invest more in him to try and sort it

This may sound harsh, but has he done anything to try and overcome it, other than the standard rehab stuff?  It’s his career, has he spent money on trying to get this looked at by specialists?   He may argue that’s the duty of the club, but he has to take ownership as well

doubt it - he spunked a massive bundle on some ludicrous mercedes dick substitute quasi range rover and he'll have done his back in with all the visits to the filling station
