Thank you for your input despite most of it having Jack shit to do with our next Manager.

All because I compared Garner to the new Ipswich gaffer
God I hope this works out.....if it ever bloody happens
I'm genuinely intrigued as to why you think Carrick would be a good appointment.
His win rate as a manager of Manchester United was higher than Jackson's was at Charlton
I honestly think he had been here, not Swindon, on loan 25 years ago people would be whipping themselves into a frenzy about him.
He has done all his badges, has worked for, and under, some of the most successful managers the game has ever seen, and David Moyes.
Seriously clever football, who played at the highest possible level and won everything there is to win at club level.
The reasons I have seen not to employ him include he plays negative football, couldn't beat the European Champions and other random nonsense.
On paper he has a much better CV than anyone else that has been linked. I actually can't think of a reason why he wouldn't be a good choice. Can you?0 -

I’m not sure I agree now with any it’s done we are just waiting TS to appear sometime next week. Why would Swindon agree to wait?1
-
Or maybe Tommy was telling the truth when @ButtleJR reported that it wasn't a done deal and we were still interviewing10

It might be as simple as the owner being strapped for cash and not wanting the contract to start until 1 June! Just a thought.0

You lot still ain't getting it are you.
The delay is because we are having to wait until after the CL final. Then we can interview Klopp & announce it next week.
Genius me.3 -

All a bit boring now this. Could be Martin for all I care now.1

Players aren’t back for a bit so I’m not sure we’re massively behind schedule are we? You’d imagine if it’s Garner he’ll have input into transfers.1

***THOMAS SANDGUAARD EXCLUSIVE***
Thomas Sandguaard has been searching for a new manager since Johnny Jackson was sacked two weeks ago.
He has spoken to many quality candidates and despite existing Liverpool Manager, Jurgen Klopp asking if Charlton could wait until after the Champions League Final is over, before discussing terms, Thomas Sandguaard has thanked Mr Klopp for his expression of interest, but advised that Charlton are aiming slightly higher than that.
The search continues.....6 -

We, as a fanbase serious need humbling
Watching and listening to the video that is doing the roundshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7sKFHELgNFQ
and looking at his performance last season I am coming round to the "quite whelmed" position.
A young manager with some success under his belt, clearly with a brain, with a reason to want to take a difficult job in a higher league.1 -

With the back ground of that there is little point employing a "manager", be it Adkins, Taylor, Warburton or Duff.
Whilst I don't buy into the buzz word bingo that is a young, hungry, progressive coach, thatnis exactly what we need, because of the way the club is run.
On paper it may read that way but I don’t buy that.
Do you know better?
"Plus TS has already said he would never interfere with the manager concerning team selection or tactics that’s why he employs a manager because he got no interest in being a manager himself … but as usual people don’t listen"
Yet the same wise man doesn't listen when Thomas makes it clear Gallen just does the negotiation.
Who is that wise man, you ask? Colin the fucking clown. Make your mind up!!1 -
