Think if they were gonna do it then maybe they should of just printed the photo out onto the shirts. Having those gezzers with shovels and flat caps on the shirt.
It does remind me of Pompey when they had a ‘darker blue than their home kit’ away kit which they wore away from home where they didn’t need to wear a different colour than blue.
Edit: clicked the link and realised they mentioned the above in the article

Yes I know but does seem a bit pointless.
Completely agree. It’s been fun watching everyone go mental on Twitter though about what they’ll wear against teams who wear blue.

Home kit blue. Away kit blue. Third kit red. Now watch them get drawn away at Palace in the cup..

Pretty sure Norwich had a year where they had Home: Yellow and Green, Away: Green, Third: Green and Yellow

Not as crazy as it first seems, and that away kit is quite nice.
It's clearly a much darker/deeper blue than the home kit. But obviously the home kit will only be worn at home and they'll rotate the dark blue and red kits for away games. It's not going to be a problem.

3rd kits have always been about money, this just proves it.

"Thank you for your brilliant designs, they are all so amazing that we're not going to share any of them with anyone."
(Joke)
Love the fact Partick are still embracing their mascot 🤣

Home: Yellow and Green,
Away: Green,
Third: Green and Yellow
Ludicrous.
