OK, I'm off for a couple of hours. Good luck guys.
    Bad as that eh?  ;)
  • Egbo down injured, here we go…

Oh great... Egbo is down - Looks like he had a coming together with a Lincoln player who fell into him, looks okay now sitting on the turf
  • COYR, looks like a lovely day in Lincoln
  • The midfield looks really weak.
Trouble is its probably the best we have.
It doesn't though... kirk had amazing stats before he came to us (and arguably is still making chances on a weekly basis), dobbo was one of the best defensive midfielders in the league last year, fraser has proven himself to be a goal scorer/creator in this league across a number of years and JRS looks a real talent.  It just hasn't clicked yet

    Hope you are right.
    We shall see.
  • We want 442....but midfield looks weak....apparently...

Disagree fully, its a talented 4 with players there to unlock teams and will do, aslong as they are set up to do so. It can be pretty fluid and can allow us to set up in different ways to dictate the game.

Cant ask for 442 and then moan...its mental.

Agreed - if we r going to try and outgun teams then at least we have some guns in this set up - I like it
  • Fraser - Kirk - Sessegnon are linking well

Similar to what we saw during Pre Season from those three

He is a 19 year old on loan at Exeter from Fulham.

His dad died, while he was an Exeter player, Jay was 7 at the time, and they retired his number 9 shirt.  Jay is the first player to ware it since.  Today is his first goal.
  • Bloody hell, Lincoln's keeper should take up javelin or fast bowling
  • Cheers what a moment for the family.

Wonder if he will score in his next match😀

Dont worry they're just having a break for 45mins when they know they can have control of the game next half

Happy for him and his family...but I hope he doesnt haha crack on after!!
  • JRS has to do better in those situations, lay it off or shoot - he often hangs onto it too long and runs out of space.
  • Is anything actually happening?
  • Stockley started well. Good reminder that, when playing as part of a two with another natural striker, he can be quite good at this level.

That said, it makes our squad construction all the more baffling.

  • Rak-Sakyi is almost as frustrating as Leko
  • Not much happening really we look comfortable enough but as we have seen all season we are specialists at conceding out of nowhere :)
  • Kirk is such a lightweight. Lost out in a challenge there that was 70:30 in his favour.

I’m just having a third digestive biscuit.
    plain or chocolate?
  • 2 up front. 3 attacking mids. 2 attacking fullbacks. 20 minutes. Most of the ball. No shots of notes.

Says all you need to know.
  • Another golden opportunity wasted by a lack of care in the final ball. No excuse for that ball being too close to the keeper. Poor.
  • Argh shame there was a little bit too much weight on Kirk's pass to put Rak-Sakyi through
  • Kirk almost played JRS in on the counter from the halfway line. Probably took one touch too many and the pass was slightly overweighted. Keeper did well to come way out of his box to clear.
