Sandgaard Out! - massive secondhand embarrassment warning for p7.

Sandgaard really needs to sell up. The club is going backwards under him and the team hasn’t got the investment it needs and he clearly hasn’t got the money to do so.
He’s all talk talk and does not deliver.

I agree 100% about Sandgaard but I think the team is unbalalanced and only two or three of the right players short of being very decent for the level. Going into the season with the lack of striking options we had is bordering on criminal.4

It hasn't worked out and he is now damaging the club. GTF.0

Fukcing hell here we go yet again!.7

Has to go, pressure should be ramped up against him at home games.5

Oh good, another Sandgaard thread.15
-
Has to go, but a lot easier said than done, mistake after mistake is bad but not taking any accountability is worse, I do get the impression Varney has something up his sleeve, hope its not another false dawn2

It’s easy to say “Sangaard out”, finding someone better to replace him is the tricker part. Bad as things may be now, we know from recent experience that there are much worse alternatives out there.20 -

I see attending the Brighton game as a form of protest. Supporting the team and a large crowd creating an atmosphere showing what is possible if you don't have a useless narcissist running the show. As many of us as possible should make the effort.3

Very hard to get rid of the owner. You can't sack him. You can't force him to resign. He owns the club & the only way he departs is if or when he sells, so the onus is really on the incoming owner - and in our case its doubly difficult as you have to add RD into the mix.
I fear TS will be here until at least the summer.1 -

Keep learning your scales Tommy.

What other rich idiot would buy us when you do not own the ground or pay £50m to buy it. Come on, be realistic 🥱🤔0
-
He has to go, but he will not.
We do need protests, but that will not be enough.
Club is doomed, because we have an idiot team owner and a scumbag owner of the Valley.
Between them, they make any takeover impossible and added to that we have a novice manager who has not a clue [I’m not one of those who thinks he will do better with a better squad].
Unless we go into administration [if TS walks away], it will be a slow lingering death.
Know I am a merchant of doom, but this has been coming for years.
Varney is not the answer, despite his enthusiasm, because he has been trying for years to cobble together a buyer without any success. Indeed, he was sniffing around when Southall and Elliott were doing their worst.

Yes, we did well against a few teams, but overall we are shocking !0 -

Unless there are anti Roland style actions, TS will not care.

We are in December we just can't beat teams from the lower half at home.
5 wins in 20 matches in the mediocre 3rd tier is so poor.

He’s on his way out I am sure. He’s a bit deluded in many respects but he knows that the squad he has isn’t going anywhere and without spending money we’re just stagnating. No spend equates to losing money and more money. He’s not that stupid. He wants out but at this point is holding out for money he won’t ever get.1
-
I'm as naused off with it all as anybody but forcing him out is not right - he may have got a lot wrong and talked things up but i don't think he deserves to be hounded out and it certainly didn't end well under RD - which in hindsight - forcing him out was also a mistake - not saying he shouldn't have gone but i don't think this 'forcing him out' thing ever works for any party. I think as a fanbase we have to accept the golden years of fan involvement and supporters virtually running the club aren't likely to return to a large extent but we need to somehow help in getting a new, more wealthy owner, going forwards. All i can say we acn do at the moment is turn up for the Brighton game and if taht helps in some way, great.8

I think he means well. but I think he underestimated the cost of running a league 1 football club & is massively out of his depth8

Massively underestimated the cost of even maintaining 3rd division mediocrity, let alone improvement.
Made a succession of bad mistakes: Adkins (well intentioned but inept), A&Eke (a delusional spunking of a chunk of the budget on a chunk to bung up the treatment room), false economy with the Summer 22 recruitment fiasco, I could go on...
Now the going has got tough he's shown his true colours with awful staff treatment and counter productive penny pinching
He's a megalomaniac narcissist who did well in one field but whose skills don't transfer to 3rd division English football.
He'll have a 'break even' point where a potential new owner's bid will meet the level of loss to which he's prepared to submit.
As with the belgian arsehole there's no universe in which he'll "get his money back". The bulk of the funding put up by Clear Ocean Capital or whatever it's called is sunk, gone.
That break even point should reduce over time as his ongoing losses mount.
That's predicated on him not being a total moron and I don't believe he can be. He's a total shit not a total fool.
As for the identity and credentials of any newbie, we're in the lap of the gods again. And in the inattentive disinterested incompetent hands of the EFL's owners and directors pantomime. We might like to think that would present some sort of barrier to charlatans and criminals but as we know all too well EFL don't know how to give a fig even if they want to. They dropped the ball yet again with Wigan.
Hopefully the point at which Skintgaard's capacity for loss and embarrassment arrives before Charlton's onfield deterioration drops us into the 4th division with consequent collapse of support.6 -
I think Martin Sandgaard is a huge part of the problem, because Thomas thinks he knows what he is talking about (he knows diddly squit) and listens to him. Much of the recruitment cock-up is down to Martin and his little black box.15

That arrangement with the ground looks like the final nail now - when TS goes that is going to be a pretty major obstacle.0

Wasn’t in the Sandgaard out brigade although I want him to sell but now I just want to see the two faced, deluded goon out of our club.18
