got a feeling some won't turn up in post on time, think they should have got last lot sold sooner. This is where priority doesn't work so well.
The priority system has worked perfectly well, however there is an argument that once the tickets  were in hand get them sent out as soon as possible.

70% of the 7400 tickets sold opted for the collection. No one has much faith in the postal system at present on that basis
If that many people opted for collection, I'm really glad I risked the postal option!
Judging by the boxes there containing envelopes with the tickets, there many thousands of tickets yet to be collected…..

the problems are gonna start at about 2pm onwards i reckon when most turn up and start to realise they may miss some of the match - only open for an hour after the match ? i wonder how strict that will be if loads are still queuing??
Very much doubt they will boot people out of the queue at 5.45, but at the same time probably didn't want people trickling through for hours after the game.

Just bumped into David Beckham.  Poor bloke’s been queuing for 13 hours.  He almost had a bust up with Philip Schofield when he saw Tony Keohone just usher him into the main entrance at the west stand

By the time I left, the mistake queue was longer than the collection queue.
The staff worked hard but were bewildered somewhat.
Could’ve done with a bit of leadership.
    No sign of burger boy.
He must have seen your post  @seth plum I got there at 2 and he was one of the staff coming out to the queue. They take your name, go into the cabin and get your tickets, come out & hand them over once you confirm the transaction ID number.  I was served within 2 minutes, no problem at all.

Gotta say well done to them all, as it was flowing really well.

do the extra tickets mean we have the whole upper tier?
My United mate seems to think that is the case yes.

On a regular match day people turn up just before kick off to collect a ticket, and get frustrated that they might miss the kickoff due to a small queue they need to join. Appreciate that many people are restricted in what times they can get to the ground, but get there tomorrow as early as possible if you're collecting.

I think the positive is that they started today, which gives them an opportunity to learn in an environment without much timing pressure and fans the opportunity to avoid the issues on Saturday, when the corrections option would have been limited.
Yeah as I mentioned previously, at the end of the day there are very few FT ticket office staff these days. The majority you see on match days working at the windows are casual staff, mostly consisting of young friends/relatives of the full timers, and that comes with its own issues with regards to training/knowledge/procedures.

All sorted, no queue. Served by the helpful Sharron from Valley Gold.

If you are able to get down there this afternoon I really think it will be in your benefit. If you’re collecting for others, make sure you have the booking surname as well as Transaction ID

I’d just looked right mate as I got to the corner and got a full glare of the sun. So I was either blinded by that, or your dazzling smile as you waved  👋🏻

Glad we got down there today and can now relax a bit. Looking forward to tomorrow and then the Tuesday exodus to MancLand 🤗

Waited no more than 2 minutes. More staff there than customers. Very easy
Yep, same for me. All very smooth and efficient - service with a smile. "Burger Boy" was even there, chipping in and doing his bit with the others - probably about 7 or 8 members of staff coming down the queue and taking details then going off to get the tickets. Couldn't fault it - well played.

Got my tickets in the post - made it all the way to the Mull of Kintyre! They actually arrived yesterday but the postie had left them with a parcel at my neighbour’s!
Do you have a lot of mist rolling in where you live, H

Pleased with that…so looking forward to this. No expectation for a result, but I think we’ve all missed a trip like this over the years with our generally poor cup runs/stumbles.

I hope that the Utd players get confused and continue to shoot for that goal that we can see on the left.

Yeah but knowing our luck our keeper will get confused as well and end up standing there too!

We should be allowed to attack that end all game,we'd probably still not score

As said earlier didn't have my tickets at the first collection point so had to queue again at the ticket office, so all in all about 40 minutes, but I thought it was pretty well organised. Block E334.
