Camera has a shocking scoring record for an attacking midfielder.
More box to box or defensive isn’t he? That’s more what we need rather than another Fraser - we know him and Payne together doesn’t really work.
I have seen it already on here, but think Aribo in our promotion season in terms of style. Strong tackler, turns defence into attack quickly and then tries to join the attack. Really hoping that this one has legs as I was desperate to sign him off Plymouth.

Unless there is a Williams type of u-turn I would say just the one today.

Looks like he was out celebrating the move yesterday..
the other one still likely to sign ?

The 2nd player that was close looks like he is off somewhere else

So Smith is going to Reading just because Football Insider says so?

Not saying it won't happen and got no info just think I'd probably not rule it out until a more credible outlet runs the story.

Football insider are quite hit and miss but Peter O’Rourke is on there and this was his story. He’s usually very reliable

I wonder if they are offering higher wages or if he just prefers to go there.

If it was Nixon then fair enough but the fella with the story is a good source

Wonder if the timing on Reading's embargo being lifted late last week has meant they've come back in with a bigger offer

That's a shame, by the way, I'd have been impressed with Smith, May and Leaburn as the choices upfront.

Not surprised Smith is going back to Reading to be honest.
Didn’t they think they had Clare until Wigan stepped in?

That all went through just before they had their embargo lifted. If Sean had waited a couple of days, he probably would have had a choice to make.

I have to say, May & Camara are very decent signings.

    Starting to feel cautiously optimistic!!

With Fraser and Dobson in midfield I think we need someone with the legs to get box to box and regularly start games like Cullen did for Bowyer’s team. I would guess at his age and after his injuries Dack probably isn’t that player, taking a chance on Camera would make more sense to me.

I doubt it would be either or.  We really need either better or serious competition for both Dobson and Fraser.  We need at least 2 center mids as we only have 3 senior ones for 3 places and IMO both need to be as good as and ideally better than what we have got.

Wouldn't Camara only be for 6 months? Not ideal building a team around someone who's off halfway through the season, good as he is

Camara would be a very good addition to our midfield

    Has Camara signed?
I might be in a minority thinking he is a hit and miss player like Fraser, but better than Gilbey,

You’d expect most loans to have a recall option in January and although it’s not ideal realistically we’re always going to bring at least a couple of loans in.

Surely Camara would be a season long loan at least? Obviously we'd need cover for AFCON in January/ Feb but I don't see that as a major issue
