On smith, we had everything agreed, but it was a straight shoot out with Reading, he chose them. We win some and you lose some. In fact, he has gone to them for less money

Any idea on the calibre of the alternatives we’re looking into?

I imagine he’d be behind May and wanted guaranteed first team football
@DubaiCAFC Rumours in my group chat that Camera is a perm deal as a physio at Ipswich mentioned it last week to a coach. Anything you can add/shut it down.

Encouraging that we're after another striker and one with a decent L1 record not a crock etc.
I don’t know how active agents are I know some might be there to make sure housing arrangements and media is complete but do you really need an agent there if your just completing a loan deal? Could it mean it’s actually a permanent transfer?

Lyle Taylor joined us for less money than what he was offered by Sunderland back in 2018
Can’t help but think Smith has made a mistake going there, him and May would have ripped League 1 up plus Fraser, Camara and Leaburn. Reading are starting next season on minus points.

Are they? They lost 6 points last season but it’s only Wigan that are starting on minus points this coming season

Think they are due another punishment for not paying players on time but not sure if will be points.

Yep deffo gone to Reading.
Cambridge finished 20th.
Maybe they'll be more productive with a better team around them but it's not a league destroying partnership IMO
Otherwise what are you paying them for?
