Think of all the money we have spent paying up manager contracts over the last 10 years.Must be worth millions combined.
Shame we can’t get a stable set up and spend our money on the squad instead.
The above compensation would easily cover the fee for the striker we need.2 -

When he joined in Jan he said ‘he wouldn’t be here if there wasn’t funds to spend’ before proceeding to spend zero transfer fees and deliver one of our worst transfer windows for years (Todd Kane, Kilkenny, Bonne etc).
This time round he claims he gave up a good job to come back…but why? It’s very hard to see what he’s come back for when we once again look to be scrapping around in the last min loan / free transfer bucket with very little sign that there really are funds to bring in the quality we need.
Something definitely doesn’t feel right & CM looks to have mislead a lot of people (staff, investors and fans that bought season tickets thinking our billionaire owners would go for it).
One week left to show us differently I guess 🤞

We have NO money to make our squad better.
The club is LOSING money which is why Gobby Methven has already made it clear that profits from player sales will balance the books.
So, fans should question what these clowns plan for the rest of the window that ends in 5 days.
Fans should then question how much Methven and his SMT are paying themselves as they destroy our club.
They have no money and no plan and these leeches will be gone when the yanks stop paying the bills (I reckon about Xmas)

We are the same club that have the SMT 'leaking' that we're on the edge of FFP, so I don't think we can be relying on that one.BR7_addick said:

And think about Prem loanees, something we were likely going to rely on. No club is going to give their most talented youngster to a team where they don't know who the manager is.

I’m making a general point not one particularly aimed at us. It’s one that should be in mind come end of the window when the owners come out with excuses.Chunes said:

Surprised to see Payne as a potential departure

Not surprised by any of the outs but I just don't understand how we can sign players when we have no manager , why would clubs loan us anyone?1

If Payne in the mix, a bit surprised tbh, as think he is a decent enough impact player from the bench with a midfielder’s eye for goal. Rest need to go elsewhere and very interested to see who on Earth Scott will think IS good enough?2

Maybe true for the guys who are at the end of their career . If you are young player who has aspirations you need to play, you want to come into a team that will suit your skills and a manager that wants you in his side.BR7_addick said:

Think Payne won't have a shortage of League 2 sides that would see his signing as a coup. Mcgrandles will probably go up to Scotland or someone in League 1.1
