But moving on players is in someways harder then buying them. The word was that the budget allows for the cost of moving players out but a deal still needs to be done.1 -
I think the outs are going to prove more difficult and we might be here on deadline day with a few still to be shifted on.
Wonder if it's Crawley in for Lucas Ness , they are light at CB despite signing Charlie Barker.0 -

It will be interesting to see what sales we actually manage to make. Hector is still without a club, Thomas dropped to L2 and I think the other released players are still mostly waiting for moves. I don’t know how many clubs have a year end of 30th June but I would guess that it’s a reasonable assumption that a lot do, if not most/all of them. Rotherham and Steve Evans aside, I would suspect a lot of clubs are watching the pennies and managing their books to try and avoid bringing in players this side of the year end if they can, particularly if they’ve got their own surplus to requirement players still on the payroll until that date as well. If that’s the case then next week should start seeing more activity0 -
Most fans probably thought Jones was living in a dream world if he seriously thought he'd have all his signings done by the end of June because certain things required to achieve that wouldn't always be in his control.golfaddick said:
