He's racked up less appearances than Chuks over the past 2 years..!
Jesus wept.
He was a PL second choice keeper last season.
I don't know anything about him but appearances across two years Sheffield United were top of Championship and then PL is not relevant for a keeper. Plenty of second choice keepers at that level who would make fantastic first choices in L1.
My point being he is coming in as a No 1 (with Mannion as back up ?) so you'd like to think he has seen some action, not been sitting in the bench for 2 seasons. A good goalkeeper gets game time.

But hey ho.....I'm wrong again.
Are you going to do this pass agg sigh no1 evn gets me babes shit like a teenage girl all summer or will we be spared it soon?
With Bayliss I remember when we lost to Coventry at theirs and thinking he was proper good player. When he went to Preston I was genuinely quite jealous as I thought he was going to go on to be a prem player one day. Had a bit of a nosedive since and I can't say I really noticed him when we played Shrewsbury at their place.
Either way with him being a free agent, and only being linked with league 1 sides and being very much a league 1 player, hardly screams of we are shopping in a different place from before as has been suggested. He's on a free and he's a mid table-ish league 1 player on paper. That's a classic Charlton signing over the years.
Another season & another new goalkeeper. Last year is was Woolacott, the season before it was Magilveray. I expect in 2025 we'll be ditching Mannion & going for someone else.

Some stability would be nice.
My sentiments exactly.
Just realised it's been -
Isted.......then before him Woolacott....& then before him Magilveray.
3 keepers in 3 seasons.
And we are now looking to make it 4 keepers in 4 seasons, or even 5 keepers in 4 seasons.
Been told potentially 3 in this week, not been given names etc, all very hush hush. Expect the 2 mentioned already to be 2 of the 3 for obvious reasons
Adam Coe the physio only recently got back from his holidays, so I wouldn’t have been so hung up on the lack of signings so far anyway.
We aren't going to delay signings as our physio is on holiday, thar is really clutching at straws.
Who do you think does the medicals for the first team players if it’s not the head physio when he’s the one who has been doing the medical for each of the players signed before?

That’s really interesting Sage. I always believed outside specialists oversaw the medicals and our physio would oversee/review the test results.
I’m always in the relaxed camp, I have been for many a year, but the populist pull of the meltdown camp is very strong and I’m edging towards it, I get slightly angrier everyday that sees another side sign someone and us do nothing. Am I irrational? Probably, but can you blame anyone for the scepticism? No.
The summer window is set to open on Friday, June 14 for clubs in the Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two so what’s the stress right now? Come June 14 and then we’ll see.

A few weeks back I cited the 14th as the day we sign our first player. Start of the Euro's so a good day to bury bad news as the attention of the world (well Europe anyway) will be elsewhere.....😂
