Well I've got the summertime blues but I won't get fooled again. But for KM's la-la-la-lies, I would be a happy Jack. Anyway, anyhow, anywhere, my generation must join together. At Orient, we might park the magic bus but let's wait til 5.15 then you'll see the real me.
Loan....rubbish. Surely we've got some money to buy him? He's a good keeper.
Well perhaps he will only sign a loan!..
Perhaps. So don't do the deal. The lack of commitment was a big reason for last season, as pointed out by Pope and JBG. So what do we do....sign a first choice keeper on loan.
At the very least they should insist on no recall clause. Marshall is injury prone.

We get a journeyman midfielder as compensation. Welcome Crofts and good luck and all that, i suspect you're as honest as the day is long, but it is only one year after all so it seems neither side is that convinced.
I am surprised it isn't Buxton.
It looks like good old 442, lump it forward and pick up the second balls. Break up play when they have it. Sorted. Lets hope all the other teams who will play the same way are indeed crapper than us.
I fear this is the most prescient post in a while. I've said it before, but if you hire a lower league English manager, you get lower league English tactics with lower league English players (RoJo).

Is it a season long loan without a recall clause, because if he has to go back to Cardiff we are really in it and will have to have another goalie, no consistency

Is that a fact? (That the deal has no recall clause)
As a regular under 21 watcher, I put it out there to other such attendees that everyone I have spoken to reckons Phillips is better than Mitov. In fact people I speak to at the games don't rate Mitov at all, but for some reason the club rave about him.
Phillips is a real steady eddy, a good communicator to the back four and saves penalties. Mitov to me has mistakes in him and his kicking is very poor (his goal v Coventry being the obvious exception!).
Little to add to this but anyone who saw Mitov's performance at Princes Park in last season's KSC Final will probably agree with you & your pals' views, bolloxbolder.
He certainly didn't inspire confidence that evening..

Unless something has changed you can only recall long term loans in January, not at any time. So if that happened we should have time to bring in a replacement.

Deals not even done yet
Ross1 suggested that was part of the deal.
No he didn't, he said is it, as in he's asking a question, backed up by giving a scenario afterwards that would cause trouble for us if he was to be called back.
Perhaps if the consensus is that Phillips is going to be able to step up which is what I'm picking up from those that know on this thread then signing Moore on loan is not such bad business. Allows Phillips another year of development without the pressure and some first team games in cups and perhaps through injury to Moore. Saves on a fee and hopefully frees up money to be spent elsewhere.

Blimey, he did as well. I read 'is it' as 'it is'. Apols.

The loan could be because Cardiff don't want to sell or we don't want to buy.
Hopefully, it's not too important. It's if he's recalled that would be damaging.
Remember Scott Carson was our POTY, when he was on loan to us.

Stated he didn't think we've been good enough on or off the pitch either before stating that so think it was pretty clear the intended audience
