Why can't we sign people with no strings attached? Why is it always one good guy in, but one out? Yes Pearce would make us better but alongside Tex or Bauer. Not Johnson. Or as the poster above says - losing Harriott shouldn't be the compromise.

Way of life in any club nowadays. Books have to be balanced.

Harriot not showing any ability to score or make goals in the friendlies so far.

What about the 10 odd players and millions of pounds we have already taken?

Why is there a shortage of money ? Is Duchatelet & Meire sticking to a league one break even point out of priniciple, even though it is detrimental to the business & any chance of promotion. When does that approach stop, when Charlton is in League 2, Conference ?

I am very sick of Charlton being a living experiment for Duchatelet's failed football strategies & business theories. The inevitable sale of the club can't come soon enough.

Just remember we do have a top 6 budget , shame it's mostly being spent on players wages that have been loaned out to other clubs

if I didn't like RD and KM so much I'd think they were deliberately trying to make life as difficult as possible for Russell ;-)

Slade said in the interview after Saturdays game that two deals in next 48 hours and one seemed a goalkeeper. They are also spinning plates on others.

The spinning plates malarkey is very risky, we haven't got enough for a full dinner service as it is ffs.

Why can't we have a CEO with no strings attached?

    Unless attached to her neck!!

Only that we've still not signed a keeper.....or anybody else. Don't worry though, Russell isn't too concerned.
It's all going to be ok.

Russell is concerned though and rightly so, however only an idiot would have believed that he would have had any influence on players leaving, not necessarily who comes in, as I believe that so far all incoming players have been his,

But this is meire at her absolute c###tish best

Slade knows he has made a mistake coming here and I fully expect him to walk away very soon.

Just been told were looking to sign Ricardo Vaz Te and Frank Moussa this week . After yesterday's game Katrien has realised we are short and really wants to go for it now , she feels these will be a real sign of intent to prove to us fans their commitment . Watch this space

Yep I've heard the same. Getting a couple of real genuine Charlton legends back will definitely get the fans back on the side of the regime.

Another player we'll be paying wages to, that wasn't good enough when signed. If you wrote a book on all the mistakes/poor decisions/fuck ups made by our owners in the last couple of years , I honestly think it would have more pages than the bible

Ceballos has unfortunately been injured, there's a player in there and we have next to no creative midfielders, disappointed he's gone.

Our only remotely creative midfielder gone to a network club, who will no doubt be technically be paying absolutely none of his wages.
