You're sounding like one of the anti-protest gang, which is odd considering your role in them.The_President said:

Had enough of all the negative shit.4 -
If anyone is interested (or gives a shit Mr president ) , I'm still boycotting. I will continue to boycott and not put a bean into the club until Roland pisses off completely.
Just wondering if someone's head might explode.17 -
Let’s not argue about this lads and lasses.....each to their own.....each to their own.9
-
If Roland is getting info fed back to him about the upturn in fans flocking back due to recent results which I am sure he is I feel there is a very good chance he will hold onto us in the Championship.
Bigger crowds, the away end sold out most weeks, TV money, more sponsorship money due to TV coverage, more club shop sales.
Promotion to the Championship is a game changer and we are not dealing with an English, rational owner.6 -

Not surprised by that really. It's much like selling a house... one that's in Bermondsey is far less expensive than one that's in Greenwich.2

Although I want RD out as soon as possible, I could live with it being at the end of May. Much longer after that and it will adversely impact on next season.
But the real worry is that he might decide not to sell if we get promoted. It would be interesting to pose the question. Would Charlton fans prefer to stay in league one and Duchatelet sells, or get promoted and he stays? At one time I would have thought the vote would be very strongly for RD to go. Now, seeing the reaction to a few wins and play off chances under Bowyer, I’m not so sure.
For me, it’s easy. I want Duchatelet out no matter what.20 -
Duchatelet out.7

PS great question for bumping up the posts, giving the false impression that something might be happening0

Feeling the urge to book a trip to rolys new hotel and fcuk him around like he has been to our football club11

The longer the sale takes, the less time the new owners and manager will get to get a squad sorted out, unless like RD, they will wait until the last minute of the transfer window and bring in a few free transfers4

Good work @DOUCHER
Thanks for keeping us all up to date mate24 -
How is this even possible give the new owner still owns another team and has just put it on sale? I did not think you could own 2 teams at once in England.ross1 said:Sunderland takeover is at the same stage. Appendix 3, I do not know how many people look into this, but I bet they will look at theirs first

And on top of that, isn't the transfer window shorter this next year, to boot?ross1 said:The longer the sale takes, the less time the new owners and manager will get to get a squad sorted out, unless like RD, they will wait until the last minute of the transfer window and bring in a few free transfers

And higher wages which offsets the extra income. The average away turnout in the Championship is 1,500 against 600 in L1. So an extra 900 admissions a game. Say £15k x 23 - £645k. Not a game changer.eaststandmike said:If Roland is getting info fed back to him about the upturn in fans flocking back due to recent results which I am sure he is I feel there is a very good chance he will hold onto us in the Championship.

The extra £5m/£6m TV money is the plus but you have to spend it or you end up going down.
Sponsorship is diddly squat. Look at the club’s own accounts which show it unchanged at £1.2m in the Championship and L1. It’s very poor in both. Not a game changer at all.
The club is worth more in the Championship but really only because it is closer to the Premier League.2 -
Agree with all that, but at the same time you can’t dispute that through looking through his eyes he was sold a yarn from Meire / Murray that the dip in attendances was due to the fall in division. On Saturday, with a hint of promotion rearing it’s head, we sold more matchday tickets at non discounted prices than at any time under his ‘reign’.Airman Brown said:.

The bloke is completely unpredictable. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if his stance evolves6 -
And that’s why he is doing it and has always been why he has not agreed a fee until he knew what league we would be inAirman Brown said:.

Could he not pocket that at the start of next season, then sell at the end of the year?Airman Brown said:.

If we are being told the truth and there are 2 offers accepted but we are waiting on knowing what league we are in, my guess is that offer A is more lucrative if we are in the Championship and offer B is more lucrative if we are in League 1.
If it is true that fit and proper persons tests have taken place / are taking place then it should be ready to go on 28th May at the latest. And it will either be owned A or owner B.
My money would be on Australians if we remain in League 1 and RH’s bunch if we are promoted.
This is all guesswork1 -
Thing is, we wouldn't be a Championship club for long if Roland didn't invest in the team and this dragged on over the summer while he looks for another buyer.nth london addick said:Exacty president
It’s not rocket science or based on inside info the longer that both parties took on getting formal offers in and accepted I was worried that RD won’t sell up this season
If I was him I would not9 -
Weren’t you the bloke who came on here bigging himself up after an infamous protest?The_President said:
Because, at this point in time, it doesnt benefit the team. Most fans dont give a toss if people are boycotting or not any more - they just want the team to win the next 4 games - we dont need any more negative shit on here, we dont need precious people coming on here saying they are still boycotting and almost glorifying it as 'wow, look how big i am, i'm still boycotting'- who gives a toss anymore? - go and do your shopping in Bluewater, go and see Buxton versus bleedin Biggleswade instead of going to The Valley- who gives a toss ? but dont come on here bigging it up as if you're doing us a favour - you're not and you're definitely not helping the team.Nug said:
Why not let people make their own minds up instead of expecting them to fall in line with you.The_President said:

Unless he has got someone else lined up to start talking too already
You can not second guess him1 -
Let’s take that Sky article at face value as being correct and then dissect some of the bits in it
‘One is an Australian consortium involving Andrew Muir and at least one former Charlton player’
So has anyone with any insight have any view that that is referring to anyone other than Paul Elliott? Is there any other ex player potentially involved?0 -

It can be said why give money to somebody who has f***** us over(this I have said before). Bit like drinking with somebody who has shagged your partner.
There is a principal in all this.
"Don't come on here at all". It's a forum about opinions you pompous bottom.10 -

Just seen this.
Not sure where Sky are coming from, unless the paperwork from CAFC, being delivered by courier at EFL House in Preston, on Monday was a vol au vent recipe.
This has come from a non Charlton supporting friend, who admittedly works for the EFL in London.28
