And possibly Dawkins in , if Ajose goes.

You think Roland will sanction 4 signings with nobody leaving?

    Nobody leaving? They've already left.

I’m just paying attention and listening to what LB has said. At least 3 new players in this week. He mentioned Ajose is the only other player going out. Dawkins is hanging around for a reason. I’m assuming LB is waiting for Ajose to go. (Who is on huge wages)

Perhaps I’m overly optimistic but let’s see what happens. Hoping for the best.

I think even two signings is pie in the sky... One would be above expectations and none at all would be dreadful but about what I'm expecting.

LB: so boss, now Jake is out we really need that extra centre mid
    RD: no problem, huh
    LB: cheers boss
RD: you can’t have the GK now though, huh

Clutching at straws maybe Roland always was allowing 2-3 more signings, but won’t let them go through until as late as possible to save paying wages through the summer.

Not so unlikely considering he’s trying to cut the electricity bill and youth team water/food bills.
  • We have had some brilliant loan signings e.g Dasilva, Amos, Buyens, Rudd. However, I don't think it is unfair to say the vast majority of loans we have had in recent years have been poor.

    Bulot was good as well

It does seem that the season long loan signings have generally been good, whereas the ones in January have been more disappointing?

Bulot eventually came good as well

  • Bauer has just stated on twitter that he has not been offered and new contract and would not sign one if it was offered. He will leave the club at the latest next summer.

He said he wouldn't extend his current one, he didn't say he woudn't sign a new one. He hasn't been offered a new one

Ward in, Bauer out, Dawkins in, Ajose out, Karacan in, Aribo out

Plus a potential Goalkeeper who must be bloody desperate

Usually we try and lock one or two players in a broom cupboard on deadline day, need to lock the doors and windows of the whole training complex to stop any of them from trying to escape on Thursday!!

My prediction: no one in, anyone who we are offered 50% of their true value out

    Wouldn't be surprised.

Bowyer must drive to training these days wondering if anyone has been sold or got injured overnight.
  • Sooner or later LB will say sod this I could be fishing on one of my two lakes instead of putting up with this shit. I’m off.

Bowyer said 100% there would be signings this week. He could surely only say that if deals had been agreed and just needed the player to sign otherwise it's not 100%. So probably 100% no signings this week. The lack of any rumours is deafening.
  • Wonder why they have left it so late if there are going to be incominngs? Could they be trying to save a couple of weeks wages?

Isn’t someone from Belgium supposed to be coming tomorrow?

    A suit not a player.

Premier league sides have to name their squads this week. Loans become available as a result.

I read that as he will not sign an extension or a new contract if it is offered to him......ie, he will simply see out his existing deal & leave next summer.

Yes that's what he says, but why take to social media to tell everyone that. I would suggest it's a come & get me plea to other clubs as he knows full well the club would take a fee for him now, rather than lose him for free next summer.

If you were a real player (not desperate), would you honestly sign for Charlton at the moment!!!!
