Let’s wait for the basted to get his poorly paid and without a bonus PR guru to spin this one up.
Maybe not paying the staff is good for the environment too?

Edit: Move along @efl, nothing to see here, keep on worrying about them pizzas...

Well, this should make for an interesting fans forum meeting.

And yes Iainment, this is why it's important you get the details right.

If there is anyone out there who still thinks that Duchatelet is good for the club, that he or his minions have any sense of decency, that we can afford to be complacent - read this and weep.

This club now is an absolute disgrace to football. We must unite and redouble our efforts. Protests now are not about persuading him to sell - we know he already wants to do that. We have to apply whatever media, operational and economic pressure we can to accelerate the sale, and to seek to ensure that he doesn’t further weaken the club through squad depletion and ill-considered cost cutting.

    Totally agree. Support ROT.

The most disappointing thing is I'm not surprised.

  • Count me in for a donation to cover the best legal team arounds' fee's. Despicable excuse of a man. This sort of shit can drive a club into the ground with a dominos effect very quickly. Not that it's not happening anyway.

    Rat.

Have they gone to their unions with this?

Quotes from disgruntled staff would have given this more credence.

Protests need to resume in SE7 and support needs to be given to the ROT campaign in Sint-Truiden.

Parasite. Get him out and ban him from owning football clubs.
  • A days strike action on Saturday would be fun.

I don’t remember him ever claiming he was right, just reported what he had heard; and that was that staff were not being paid.

Actually, he was right. They have not been paid the wages that they were due.

Would rubbershower have been on a bonus?
Maybe for the number of Katrien stories on Googled he “cleaned”?
It’s wrong to think of him as a Winston Wolf character now but maybe he too will end up selling car insurance (where you probably can get bonuses for real)

Then they’d be ex-staff pretty quickly.

I am sure many of us would stand alongside the staff if that happened boycott or not, we cam not let him get away with this, protest must continue in SE7 and through RoT. If you havent joined yet, now is the time.

I wonder how LB and the players feel when they see this?

I suspect the players couldn't care less as long as their bonuses are not cut.

But would be very interesting if ALL the staff phoned in sick one match day

I assume the tribunal system deals with employers who don’t pay what is due. The bigger difficulty is that you have to front up against your current employer to get it or walk and claim constructive dismissal, which may not be worthwhile.

Although us fans don’t like to see Charlton get to be in the press for the wrong reasons, surely the more bad press RD gets will hopefully give him some impetus to sell.

Would still incur some cost for lawyers and the like. Even more if they fail.

For employees that are working around the clock to try and get close to an acceptable wage I would suggest that this might not be the best path to take.

If you look at the twitter reply I made to you a couple of weeks ago when I mention constructive dismissal and see who liked it :p

Perhaps they might look to shame their employer in the national press first then.
