I am sorry but I don't like that kind of bowl that Stokes has just bowled. It is not bodyline. For me that is not in the spirit of the game.5

I bloody loved it.10 -
Luckily there won't be time for England to bat tonight!0

Trouble is with Stokes you don't what he is going to bowl. Not even Stokes knows.Laddick01 said:
He’s definitely not meant that. Just an awful ball.Rudders22 said:I am sorry but I don't like that kind of bowl that Stokes has just bowled. It is not bodyline. For me that is not in the spirit of the game.0 -

6 wickets for Archer.0 -
Kind of nice to have the best young bowler in the world.3
-
That will do. I can watch Eastenders now ! And we don't have to have a nervy bat0
-
Can't wait for the 4th test when we have them 26-3 and then him and Smith put on a 250 partnership for the 4th wicket.blackpool72 said:

Although some posters on here earlier were calling for a spinner to be used I have to say this.
Perfect conditions for pace and seam bowling.
Root called it correct.4 -
Brilliant timing! Perfect for the England openers too who can get ready to start at 11am0

Would be great if Anderson were fit enough to replace a very tired looking Woakes in the next Test2

We could knock them over for 75 and we’d still have a nervy batRudders22 said:That will do. I can watch Eastenders now ! And we don't have to have a nervy bat1 -
Bowl out Aussies on Day 1 - Tick
Five-fer for Jofra - Tick
Avoid follow-on - Tick
A successful day for England.4 -
Only because Stokes and Woakes were bowling tripe.blackpool72 said:Although some posters on here earlier were calling for a spinner to be used I have to say this.

Archer and Broad had control, the other two seamers might as well have just thrown the ball over the boundary and saved everyone the hassle.3 -
Just make sure now we don't do what Kent did against Essex in their second innings...1

All out for less than 200.Briston_Addick said:

I rest my case.1 -
If we score 350 or more, then it will be in the bag.0

Doesn’t mean all the seamers bowled well, always helps when one bowler gets 60% of the wickets.blackpool72 said:

Aussies got 43 runs as those last 8 wickets fell , which coincidentally are the best bowling figures of Bob Willis , also at Headingley in 1981 against our Antipodean friends7
