Why not get a restricted view ticket and sort it on the day.
My personal opinion is there are often empty seats at the front, because "lads" with front tickets move to the back, one way or another.0 -
Imagine having a massive pillar obstructing the view from the away end. Tinpot. :-)Covered End said:I presume the Restricted View tickets have a pillar obstructing the view.

redman said:Question. I bought 2 tickets today and assigned 1 to my wife. Also eligible. My son bought 2 tickets as well as he was eligible. However his mate., who is just short, couldn't get 1 assigned to him. In a way no problem for this game but seems unfair he cant get the points
It is a problem. Quite a big one.
Season ticket holders are not eligible to buy themselves a ticket until Monday yet someone who is eligible can buy one for their mate who’s never been to Charlton game before if they wanted. That seriously needs reviewing.2 -

Those restricted view ones I really don’t think think are going to be a problem. It’s one post that’s not huge, and I suspect most of those seats will happily on the day be taken up by youngsters that want to be at the back.
Certainly wouldnt deter me from going6 -

You have trouble seeing over the seat at every match9 -
But in practice that's not going to happen, or at most will account for single figures. The majority of "plus 1s" will be people who by themselves would be fairly high up the league table anywayBelv said:redman said:Question. I bought 2 tickets today and assigned 1 to my wife. The phases are totally wrong, there are too many and cause be reduced to three of four or phases. it also makes fans trying to buy tickets impossible to increase there points as by the time you are entitled to buy the tickets they are sold out.1

I am not complaining myself as I don't do too many away games myself. (previous work commitments), health etc. However, it is a bit annoying when you see some people posting on FB and showing "look what I have got, 10 tickets" and another today for £14 tickets". How the hell are they allowed to buy 14 tickets and 10 tickets respectively? How is that fair on others? The phases were basically crap as they have allowed to. So someone can buy tickets for friends that probably aren't season ticket holders, genuine fans etc, or go once in a blue moon can get tickets where others can't. Once you had gained access to the game you could buy twice as many tickets as you have registered friends and family, because the system didn’t check whether the linked accounts were also eligible.Dippenhall said:

i don’t know if this is because the game was set up wrongly or if the system has that limitation, but it does make the phasing a bit meaningless.0 -
Seems like a loophole to me that needs looking at. Like you say, makes the phasing meaningless.Airman Brown said:
