Just. Not. Enough. We gifted them the goal and didn't have enough about us to dig ourselves back out of it.

Results elsewhere cushion the blow a bit. Now next week's match against Hull carries even more pressure.

I'd encourage you to go out for a nice, long walk.

We can say ‘second half was better’ but at this stage of the season it’s just not good enough. To offer another absolute gift of a goal again, and to line up in the wrong formation again and have to change it after 30 minutes again. They were passing it around us like we weren’t even there! Even in the second half, we huffed and puffed but they still had the better chances and many more of them. It was rubbish.

LB - Please start a game with a formation that actually works, cheers mate

Another 6 pointer next week. If we can win that, it all looks different. Other than Sarr and Lockyer back though, what can we do differently?

Three defeats in a row v relegation rivals. No goals. Boro done the double over us. League One here we come.

Don’t see anyway out of it. Continuous mistakes, don’t create any chances (lowest in the league) and a manager that still doesn’t know his best system after 37 games.

    Grim.

No goals against Sheff Weds / Huddersfield/ Mboro - you've got no hope

  • Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield and Middlesbrough.

    3 games, 3 defeats, 0 goals scored.

    Simply pathetic.

Relegation fight and playing against a fellow relegation contender, first goal is essential! Expected not to be conceding first today at home.

They had more chances, but nearly every one was speculative and every one was wasted.

Nothing going for us at the moment, but at least Wigan's winning streak has been halted.

This thread often goes into meltdown after a defeat.
    Well today that's fully justified.
I've been supporting this club since the 60s and  I know what a relegation side loos like.

We have absolutely no chance of staying up.
    Fuckin rubbish.

At the moment all 3 promoted sides are going down.
  • And now next week we have Hull who are on an 11 game run without a win, conceding 29 goals in the process.

No doubt we'll go 5 at the back and play for a fucking draw.

    I no longer believe.

Seriously - who gets bought by Abu Dhabi in January and relegated in May?

Bowyer has to go now, or ask for help!
Bring in someone like warnock to advise - a kick up the managers ass and players too could do big things!

Feel that this is the curtain to our season... even hull with magenis upfront will do well next week!

This. Something is patently wrong with the set up, gameplan, call it what you will.

The players are unsure and confidence is shot to bits.
Nothing is going to get better until this is addressed.

Back to basics, Lee. Keep it simple and get the players playing as a team unit again.
    And, no excuses.

The three promoted teams are going back down. Convinced of it after the last week.
