MacAnthony seems to think he'd to the job. Having watched him play last season I'm not so sure... Is he worth the punt?0 -

He would say that, he’s looking to sell him for as much as possible.ButtleJR said:

Strikers will always be the hard position to fill in any squad.
Charlton alone have shown recently that purcashing a decent scorer based on recent seasons is a dubious move; Schwartz | Ajose | Benson just to name a few)...
Whilst other teams have shown that if you scout a player properly then there is an opportunity that their chances in front of goal will suddenly take off if they're in the right squad. We could bring in either Eisa or Akpom and there is probably an equal chance of them flopping as there is of them succeeding.2 -

If he said "what a useless waste of money he was" he could hardly then ask for a fat fee for him!0 -
I can't believe it was only 8 months ago we were all talking about it. I stand by what I said then. There is no such thing as regular 20 goal a season striker, in league 1. Especially one that has "championship potential".ForeverAddickted said:Strikers will always be the hard position to fill in any squad.

If you score 20 goals in league 1 you won't be in league 1 long enough.4 -

They just got promoted with him as a bit part player (only started 6 games), so it's a bit of stretch to say he'd be driving a promotion push.ButtleJR said:

He would be a poor signing, very similar to Chris Dickson.. we will be signing players this summer, that can do a job in the Championship.Scoham said:
