Kit manager Wayne Baldacchino has resigned and is serving his notice. Ben Mehmet, who I believe was kit manager for the U21s, recently quit and has already gone.0

Sangaard hasn’t taken not getting Category 1 status well by the sounds of things!5

On the face of it there are questions to be asked, but I would rather somebody with a brain asked them and not some tweeter suffering from hysterical look-at-me ism.
"Die on my hill"? FFS
Agree with that sentiment0 -
When the academy is probably the only thing within the club that will make him money (or rather reduce his losses), it's absolutely baffling why he'd choose to cut funding.
This might very easily result in promising 13/14/15 year olds leaving for other clubs.9 -
If I was a committee member on Valley Gold I would want some answers.
Poor old Keith Peacock on about the academy at the start of the week and now more of this!

That gentleman backs up his comments with proof as well as his actions and to question his mental capacity is very wrong. Personally I wouldn't piss him off, but thats your choice #Boardroomprotests8
-
Mike Ashley is probably interested in seeing how a football club has followed his Sports Direct model.0
-
Do we get inspected to retain whatever academy category we currently have?
Assuming we are cat 2 there must be things like coach/player ratio and other things we need to satisfy.2 -

As for "personally I wouldn't piss him off", what is that supposed to mean?
Is he going to come around and beat me up?
I'm nearly 70, but he'll need to watch out for my walking stick7 -
If this is true and I have no reason to doubt it, it is so short sighted then it must mean TS is out of here in the short term.2
-
With the success that we’ve had with our academy, what surprises me is that no other club has snapped up Steve Avory. He’s the secret of our success, IMO8

@Six-a-bag-of-nuts
Exactly that "Personally I wouldnt piss him off"
But as I said "to question his mental capacity is wrong"
And as for .............
..............."Great, I'd really like to hear the proof in some sort of lucid format"....................
Get involved with those that know and you'll find out, I certainly dont know. (I have his number should you want it)
Go and have a pint with them they'll answer your questions I'm sure, but dont expect them to plaster it all over social media to keep us happy.
Congratulations on being nearly 70, I'm nearly 65 hopefully we'll both get a cake.

“Whooooo oooooh

The poster who put up the tweets asked for views and I gave mine.
I thought they were hysterical and lacked intelligence, hence my "brain" comment.
(I'd be grateful if you wouldn't attempt to divert the argument down the "mental capacity" angle and any wider implications).
I've no intention of chasing the guy up for his reasons, if he doesn't want to elaborate on his tweets then people are going to take them at face value.
Anyway, this is going down a blind alley, so I'm out

I'm probably wide of the mark here. but it feels to me like he's getting ready to sell up8

I'm grateful that anyone feels confident enough to post on Twitter/here of the issues that are clearly important to the well being & future of our club.
In the case of the Academy tweets ( and thank you to whoever made them accessible for those of us who don't use that platform ) I can't believe that in light of numerous, confirmed issues over the past couple of months, most of us here would question their validity....especially as others have backed up those pieces of information.
Behind the scenes, everything appears to be falling apart at the seams.
And those burying their heads in the sand, may soon regret their lack of interest in all off field "stuff".23 -

In the short term we know it will mean no signings or adding to the squad in Jan.4 -
"even down to coaches bringing their own balls in" 😆
Not saying this ain't accurate, but ffs. Are the chefs bringing their own pans in and groundsmen using their own forks n all???0 -

Really worrying all this news of cut backs in the Academy, this could have a real long-term effect. Turn up the heat on TS now..
Didn't we protest when the club stopped plastic bottles in the Academy, under RD! For all of RD faults, the last 3 years under him, wasn't so bad.. Half decent budgets, didn't interfere with playing side, paid the bills, no public outburst! Remember Bowyer saying, be careful what you wish for!!
I want to be positive about TS, but I just can't see it at the moment..28
