Finished last, 86 lengths behind second last.0

I bet Callan couldn't believe his luck - winning doing cartwheels on a 50/1 shot, only to eventually find out that his ride on a horse that had next to no chance of winning actually cost him 12 days wages!2
-
No excuse for that. He had only been riding for a minute when he rode that finish. He must have known that it was a two mile race. Should have got more than 12 days in my opinion.ValleyGary said:Anyone see Callan riding out a finish last night with a lap still to go? Absolute shocker.1 -
Anyone watching the Breeders Cup?
A win for Appleby and now O’Brien. Meditate was class.0 -
One thing I have notice is how shit US jockeys are.0
-
Breeders cup is one of my favourite sporting events every year0
-
Another win for Appleby with Rebels Romance. He is certainly showing the Yanks how it's done.0
-
Spectacular performance from Flight Line. So, so good.

Mick Channon is retiring at year's end, his son, like so many other similar family situations, will take over the licence1

Just caught up with the story of Cody’s Wish winning the dirt mile. If this isn’t made into a Hollywood film then I’ll be amazed. Incredible story.

Wow, what a chase debut by Jonbon, easily beating a high class horse in Monmiral.
He jumped superbly.0 -
Becher Chase today at 2.05pm.
Favourite GESSKILLE 11/2 (similar pedigree to Saint Are and Delta Work) is hard to oppose. Up 4lbs for just being just held on the nod in the Grand Sefton a month ago (also Good to Soft).
There is some value with PERCUSSION 14/1 who's weighted to finish much closer to him on his 8L 3rd in that race, staying on well at the line (jumped beautifully). Also a nice looking, Aintree-suited pedigree.
Enjoy.2 -
I've had a very small punt on Captain Kangaroo cos it's trained by Gunboat Willie M andPeanutsMolloy said:Becher Chase today at 2.05pm.

Last year's National winner, Noble Yeats, about to run in the Many Clouds Chase at Aintree.1

Massive performance and wins by about 4 lengths. Will head for the Gold Cup on the back of that, where the hill will certainly help.superclive98 said:Last year's National winner, Noble Yeats, about to run in the Many Clouds Chase at Aintree.2 -

Another superb performance from Jonbon in the grade 1 Henry viii novice chase. He jumps so well.0

Facile Vega, last year's winner of the Cheltenham and Punchestown bumpers, just made his hurdles debut at Fairyhouse, winning hard held hy about a dozen kengths. Looks a real machine, just like his mum.0
-
Huge run from my boy Fortescue plugging on into 4th at 40/10
-
Another big Saturday win for the Skeltons as Ashtown Lad wins the Becher Chase, holding on from Gesskille.0
-
Disappointing from Shishkin in the Tingle Creek as Edwardstone wins easily from Greaneteen. Shishkin doesn't look back to anywhere near his best.0
-
good calls Peanuts .. Edwardstone !! .. made the well fancied look like cart horses1
-
Nice runs from my fellas over the big ones, seeing the trip out well, but one too good - a worthy winner.
Better dust off the old spreadsheet.6 -
Honeysuckle tastes defeat for the first time as she finishes only third behind Teahupoo and Klassical Dream in the Hattons Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse.1
-
8s is now miles, MILES too big for her for the Champion Hurdle. Probably my first AP dart of the season now.superclive98 said:Honeysuckle tastes defeat for the first time as she finishes only third behind Teahupoo and Klassical Dream in the Hattons Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse.0 -
