Get ready for the return of a friendly face.0

This club is such a joke nowThe young lad will get the gig do ‘ok’ get the job till the season end, we finish 19th and do this whole thing all over againMeanwhile the core support dwindles to 1984 levels1
-
So “people just making stuff up on the internet” sometimes is actually correct…6
-
I said back in the summer when he was appointed he'd be gone by end of November. Most laughed..... I was only a week out15
-
Perhaps the most bizarre decision yet. TS can just fuck off now imo the bloke is obviously a moron5

ButtleJR said:The arrogance of Sandgaard is laughable. Does he truly think he equipped BG well enough to do well? Get ready for some American puppet to come in and for us to be playing in league 2 next season. Silly cnut.13

Total clusterfuck this club.
Absolutely ridiculous decision. Brought in with a remit to change the culture at the club and adopt a new playing style and then hung out to dry by the owner and not given the tools to fulfil the brief.
Genuinely believe Ben was sold a pup and promises around budget and squad investment have been broken.
Any self respecting manager will run a mile if we come knocking. A squad full of gutless shitehawks, half of which spend most of their time injured.
How the hell can you let a bloke take training and then mug him off straight away afterwards?
I have always aired towards Sandgaard being well intentioned, but just having too big an ego to make things work.
I now think he is just a twat.
We are becoming (have become) an even bigger freakshow under him.30 -
Anyone who now things TS is anything more than a slightly cuddlier version of RD is deluded.22

No manager can work under this administration and be successful. TS and his family have got to go.Should be loud and clear that we want him out at the next home game38

Absolute joke decision!Garner was expected to get a tune out of a metaphorically dilapidated piano with keys missing!
sandgaard an absolute clown, and has put us back years!Presumably dampens any rumours of a takeover in the near future… or his last roll of the dice??4 -
Cawley made to look a bit of a dummy here. I wonder why they chose not to tell him yesterday (if that’s true).1
-
Not backed properly in the transfer market, and his squad also badly affected by injuries, so a difficult situation for anyone, though Garner hasn't endeared himself to me with his constant whining about officials.
Some of his recent comments were very similar to Scott Parker's before Bournemouth sacked him.1 -
Sorry for Garner. He got a bum deal from Sandgaard but to be honest I never really became a fan. His recent behaviours were clearly intended to facilitate his exit. I'm not sorry to see him go per se but I am now fearing for the future of the club. Only the needy and desperate need apply and even then this might be a stretch too far. What have we become?4

What a mess!0

Like his style of play or nor, just what could Garner do.
1)He got shafted in the transfer window
2)So many injuries p,playing 17 /18 year olds,
3)No doubt the family were sticking their ore in at every opportunity
This club is a laughing stock, they can get stuffed for all I care.2 -
An absolute joke of a decision.
Proper buzzkill that. I know there's been some bad results, but that was the most enjoyable football to watch at Charlton in a long while. Gutted about that.
Oh well, back to lumping it to Stockley2 -
Breaker Morant anyone!0

Fucking ridiculous. Classic - in the face of a fuck up sack the person below you so it looks like their fault.3

Total shambles.
We’re right back in Roland land. How unlucky can one club be to get this long succession of owners?
2 -
Best move he could make would be sacking off his Missus tbh. We're an embarrassment.1
-
What a shambles , it's the recruitment team that need sacking1
-
I think it’s bollocks, it’s a move from the ownership to cover their own tracks, Garner went public and that was never going to end well. Shame, I think given the resources we had a good manager there. Total fuckin shambles our club, a cursed entity.8
-
Embarrassing, never given the tools to succeed1
-
Pathetic decision.
You give a manager a threadbare squad that is lacking depth in key areas, you cut the budget in an attempt to somehow break even, and in addition to that 4-5 first team players are currently injured, plus he's still in both cups and you sack him.
Fuck off Sandgaard.23 -
Shambles. I’m done until Sandgaard has gone. What’s the point even debating or getting excited about a new manager? Nothing will change with this owner. He’s useless, clueless and arrogant and hasn’t got the money.

Feel sorry for Garner.
TS claims he wants a style of play and is bringing in a manager to do it.
Doesn't back that manager with the tools to do it.
Sacks the manager for not being able to do it.
Crazy mismanagement by TS.

I'm not devastated Garner has gone, never agreed with his appointment in the first place.
Some nice passing but ultimately ineffective against sides with smaller budgets than we have and we couldn't defend. Plus he's been making noises of being unhappy for a while now.
A complete Russel Slade of an appointment is how I'd sum up his time with us10
