George deserves a load of credit for just being able to stand up yesterday after his efforts on Tuesday.4

Cawley on the optional 1 year extension.5
-
Will it be triggered / announced, whether we get taken over or not, surely this is a easy win?0
-
Based on others in the last few years I think it can only be activated within a window after the season ends.0

He needs to be offered a proper contract extension. Get him tied down properly, as he's one of our few acquisitions who's actually been a success.9

Even if come the summer Sandgaard is still our owner there's no way he's not extending Dobson's contract.Mendonca In Asdas said:Will it be triggered / announced, whether we get taken over or not, surely this is a easy win?0 -
agreed - make him want to stay, not have to staykillerandflash said:He needs to be offered a proper contract extension. Get him tied down properly, as he's one of our few acquisitions who's actually been a success.4 -
Also 100 per cent the case that, should anyone want him, they'd factor the cost of paying his contract off into the feeScoham said:Cawley on the optional 1 year extension.0 -

Same old scenario of a takeover stopping longer term contracts being handed out?!2
-
Best news we've had in a while. Hopefully either TS or new(hopefully good) owners give him a long term extension.2

Really confused as to how people are congratulating Dobson like he agreed to it ? Fact of the matter is Dobson had no say in it at all. It was the clubs option for the extension4

We've had this problem ever since the Spivs ran out of money. So many periods where everything was in limbo, and contract management fell by the wayside.mendonca said:Same old scenario of a takeover stopping longer term contracts being handed out?!
Our contract management has been awful, losing so many players for a pittance or nothing because of this.3 -
He did at the start when the contract offered his agent would have agreed to it000__Jaaaaay__000 said:Really confused as to how people are congratulating Dobson like he agreed to it ? Fact of the matter is Dobson had no say in it at all. It was the clubs option for the extension5 -
And you think he would have done now with his stock so high ?RonnieMoore said:

Good news is that we'll get a fee for him in the summer and not leave on a free. I honestly don't think he'll be wasting his time down here next year.KentishAddick said:Best news we've had in a while. Hopefully either TS or new(hopefully good) owners give him a long term extension.2 -
The story says that Dobson triggered the extension, on his terms, after playing the number of games needed.000__Jaaaaay__000 said:Really confused as to how people are congratulating Dobson like he agreed to it ?
