And you believe that? I'd say you would have to be quiet naive to.RonnieMoore said:
As we been told takeover or no takeover won’t affect the summer business as the budget been agreed with the protental new owners as well .. hence the reason we are getting in with the summer shopping as Holden explained last weekBraziliance said:

Rules us out then, I can't imagine us signing anyone in the next week
Which means if that journalist is right, Sandgaard would have bid north of 500k for Alfie May when we know how unlikely that is.
We were linked with him so I thought i'd share, based on that journos tweet regarding May it now seems unlikely
How can a budget be agreed with potential new owners, it's as Rich says, we are a fair bit away from a takeover and players won't be getting signed for fees unless that's dealt with first.0 -

When does pre season start ? Thats the key date. Doubt many of the top players signing for league one clubs will happen much before then. Agents and players will be holding out for better offers until they can’t hold out any longer. The exception might be with Wrexham who are I think likely to skew the wages on offer and might sign players who are targets for teams like us. I’d be surprised if May doesn’t end up at Wrexham.0

Exactly - it’s ludicrous. Unless Holden is operating under the fact that even if we do get taken over, the budget will be the same as it is under TS wanting to sell, ie - a crap one, which doesn’t bode well even if we are taken over.Braziliance said:

How can a budget be agreed with potential new owners, it's as Rich says, we are a fair bit away from a takeover and players won't be getting signed for fees unless that's dealt with first. The amount of nonsensical bull coming from the club, the prospective buyers and sellers is through the roof at the moment
On another note, I keep seeing stuff on Twitter highlighting how weak the division is this season. It’s irrelevant as we are just as weak and very much fit in it given our squad, takeover or no takeover. We need quality, a decent amount of it and we need it early. Anything else and we’ll all be crying about the same old crap in a few months5 -
Rumours that Benzema is going to Saudi champions Al Ittihad on a €200 million contract for two seasons.
The noise is also getting louder around Messi going to Al Hilal for a quite ridiculous €400 million PER YEAR.
We need to hurry up and get our takeover done before we miss out.1 -

Not a rumour, see Coventry have released Tyler Walker. Would like us to sign him. Similar playing style to Taylor.3

Can cross this one off if you ever thought it was possible.

walker hasn’t done anything since a really good spell at Lincoln a couple of years ago. What did Curbs use to say “I like players who are hungry and angry”DubaiCAFC said:Not a rumour, see Coventry have released Tyler Walker. Would like us to sign him. Similar playing style to Taylor.
Tyler Walker fits that mould. I’ve wanted to go for him for 2 seasons at least and I still think he will click again when he finds the right place

Peter Garland certainly met half those requirements, while Andy Todd met the other half...Swisdom said:

For some yes. However that doesn’t make all criticism or questioning from others scapegoating.Major said:
