I really think that if we had lost the match it would have been his last match. I still think he is on the ledge because of the dire football being served up each week and of course the poor results. NJ has been back by the owners but he is not delivering. To me it’s count down time and I don’t think there is too long left on the clock.12

Not finished, just started.
He is a battler at the moment, gaining experience in a poor domestic team, but also gaining experience as an international player.
Eight weeks after turning twenty.
I would pick him over Docherty, Alan Campbell, and Luke Berry, of the midfielders listed on the official site, only Coventry and Taylor would be my pick ahead of him, and even then it would be marginal, Tayo Edun would come next, but that is because we haven’t seen much of him amongst the dross and there is little to criticise about him this season.
Go on, who would pick, for example, Alan Campbell ahead of Anderson?1 -

The game was crap but the ref had a good one. Couldn't see any glaring errors in his performance at all.2

Do need to see more of that of course but it was a good platform to build on.
We deserved the win though we weren't great but we needed the win, one way or another.
Gas is a lump it forward target man that doesn't win half his headers. Atrocious player that I'm sure when he leaves us (probably in the summer) he will drop down to League Two or maybe even National League.
Certainly not saying he is world beater but he played well last night.1 -

We win our game in hand and we could be only 2 points off playoffs but that doesnt tell the full story of our performances.4

That is a criticism not just of Ahadme but Godden too. Although i like Godden, he’s not a patch on May, that much is now evident. And in turn it is evident that Jones treatment of May backe end of last season was indeed the strong warning sign that I feared at the time.
They didn't agree their transfer fees, they didn't pretend to be players they are not, they aren't deciding the set up or system.
This sits with recruitment and tactics, not the individual players.
Unless a player is evidently not trying, and I don't see that with either of them, it sits with leadership.0 -
I put on my rose-tinted specs and crossed all my fingers and toes to watch last nights game and it paid off!
3 points..... phew..... quite liked the front 3 of Miles, Gass with Matty playing a little deeper....... thought we played through with the ball a bit more than I've seen recently....... not so many passes across the back and midfield and Gillesphey got to rest his diagonal left leg a bit....... Hylton looks much trimmer than when he first came, he did alright too including a nice ball through to TC (didn't he do one of those in some cup game too?)........ Gass seems sharper than earlier in the season and over the last couple of games I think he's shown better pace than in his early days....... Miles was there or thereabouts and is getting sharper too...... Taylor looks comfortable and able on the ball, I wonder if he can have a go at the more forward midfield role instead of Anderson or Doc....... Coventry is a goodun'........ clean sheet so hats off to the guys at the back especially Mitchell and Edwards....... and NJ didn't get booked or sent off!3 -

What a time to be alive! A clean sheet and three massive points away against the mighty (ten-man) Burton; then I win The National Lottery - £5.70!

How far offside was TC when put through , did he run from his own half he looked 5 yards off
and right at the end when TT was being booted on the floor how did they get a free kick for That ffs11 -
It was a dire game, one we would have only taken a point from had they not gone down to 10 men.We could hardly string 3 passes together and so many players genuinely look uncomfortable with a football at their feet and I include Leaburn in that.Adhame has got to be one of worst players ever to have worn the shirt. He has the pace of someone who’s just taken a hit of spice and the strength of a match stick. Yet another atrocious imitation of a footballer we’ve been exposed to in recent years.Anderson, although young, shows very little technical ability and despite being ‘one of our own’ needs a loan to league 2 or below. League one looks above his level. The Godden, Leaburn, Adhame front three was horrible to watch and those three mix like oil and water
I truly believe that if we front up like that again on Sat, Walsall will get a win. Burton’s lack of quality was a huge factor in us not getting shown up for the ramshackle pathetic excuse we are13 -

One thing I will say about Ahadme is he is a trier.
Another thing is he seems like a good bloke.
Does nothing for the team and results though, kind of a combination of Bakinson Ladapo and Camara rolled into one.9 -
Nathan Jones has to own the decision for the Luton players who came to CAFC. Just like Ben Garner had to with the Exeter players or trying to turn Jayden Stockley into a different player. Not sure the budget Ben had was comparable.
A couple of good judges has said that's the poorest performance when we have won. The stats may say one thing but I don't believe our eyes deceived us against 8 points Burton from a possible 48. Definitely a 1st for me as I normally go with its 3 points and don't criticise but I suddenly feel like Billy mix or Nicholas and that is a place I don't want to be !
The worst draw was possible the home game against Cray Valley paper mills.1 -
Well, it wasn't pretty, but at least we got the win and it made the drive home more positive than my last long drive home from an away day (Barnsleys late equaliser).
It was definitely more of a 'paper over the cracks' result over a 'build on this' result. We looked very ordinary and were quite fortunate Burton are just a bad side. They are without a shadow of doubt going down. Their fans also seem to be in a state of acceptance.
I don't want to be too harsh on Karoy, as he's a good lad, and an academy boy, but he's not at this level. I'm not sure if he would even stand out in league 2 tbh. Coventry and Taylor are by far and away our best midfield options, and should be starting every single minute unless they physically can't. I can't even begin to understand why Terry Taylor was dropped last game. He completely changed this game.
TC also needs a lot more game time. One of the only positive players and defenders actually look concerned against him. I'd honestly back myself against Gas.
Final note, I thought their number 8 was quality until the head loss, his sending off in particular changed the game as he was their best player by a mile.
Still expecting a loss to Walsall, but hey ho, 3 points and a glimmer of hope.13 -
I also did shout at Jones "where are these basics you keep talking about" when we couldn't string a pass and someone shouted shut up 😂
Can't even go to an away game and be toxic to a manager anymore, games gone38 -

We need pace. Other than TC the only options appear to be Small and Dixon.
I'll say it again, we look and play better with Small in the side, certainly attacking wise.
We have to find a place for Small in the side. Maybe swap Gillesphy for Edwards with 3 at the back.
Dixon on the bench is surely only a matter of time given our injuries?8 -

Also noticed that Chuk's latest knock is now coming up to 2 months since his last game. What is actually wrong with him this time?0 -
