Has anyone seen the BBC trailer for the Winter Olympics, along the Behind the Scenes making of it, and how it all got done with Stop Motion?

Whats the logic and reasoning behind having an opening ceremony days after the events started?. The Summer Olympics was the same, it's almost like the Stadium was already booked by a boot fair or something and they have refused to change the date.

They do the same with the football for the Olympics. The rule is 16 days for the Games, but you can’t fit it in with team group tournaments so they start early.

I do love a bit of curling. It's like Bowls on ice. That & the luge are about the best things in the games.

We have a good chance of gold in the skeleton again however there's issues with the helmet we use so they will ban it to help other nations who as they do every winter olympics complain about GB daring to go and try and win a medal.

Obviously we were all watching our game but just wondered if anybody saw any of the opening ceremony?
  • Lovely win against the Americans in the Mixed Curling... 7/7 from us now, and we've secured a place in the Semi-Finals now as a result.

Watched some of the ski-ing where they go backwards and along metal bars etc and the BBC commentary was just ridiculous "street snowboarder jargon" embarrassing, I don't imagine the average BBC viewer had a clue what they were going on about- so much for the BBC mission statement to "Inform, Educate and Entertain".

I prefer the group speed skating. There's always a trip which leads to controversy. That still an event?

  • Love the commentary during the Ice Hockey whilst showing a toddler
"It must be difficult for them to understand whats going on" - To be fair I'm 42, and I dont have a f**king clue about the rules either

Anyone willingly doing the luge needs a psychological assessment

Dont know if I'd prefer to try to do the Luge or the Skeleton, if I was forced to do one
At least this you're not forced to go down face first

Surely this is worse because you can’t see what’s happening!
