Fourth again for Kirsty Muir, heartbreaking

Yes, he’s been doing it for 2 weeks and learned nothing about it at all. Thinks he’s a genius though

Has often confused who is yellow or red and on more that one occassion has stuffed up on the playing teams. One was the Swiss which he referred to as Sweden ffs !!

He's been commentating on curling for many Winter Olympics now.

A quick look at Wiki reveals he took over from Dougie Donnelly at the 2010 games and has done it every games since.

To be fair though, what is there to learn?

Each team lobs 8 stones each down the ice and whoever goes last smashes everything else out the way. It's like watching that cycling thing where they all go really slow for ages and the race only starts on the last lap!

Fair play to them though. At least they sweep up their own mess as they go along.

    That’s even worse then!

He’s always way too optimistic then seems surprised when the other team make a successful shot, usually right up to the stone reaching the centre. It’s quite annoying!

The missus had it on when I got home from work so had to listen to Cram rather than the TNT coverage I usually turn to.

I prefer TNT’s coverage as well, it’s dynamite
  • Agree about 'Crammie'...he has been doing this gig for years and still appears clueless. He also sounds as if he's had a caffeine overload and is desperate to jabber on. This is made worse by the fact he is paired with people who have played the sport who are wry and dry Scots. Loved it when one of them had enough of him calling the US women's team Canadians and put him straight on air.

Just watching the crosscountry ski-ing/shooting lark.

You can be leading by miles & suddenly be back in the pack just because you miss a couple of shots as you then have to do a penalty "loop".

Better than the snowboarders doing a few tricks.

Crosby out for Canada against Finland in the hockey (and I'd be surprised if he makes the final if they get there). Big blow - massive presence on the bench, and losing Captain Canada might affect them much more than losing him as a player. Time for McJesus to step up.

    Canada, just.

Looking like a Canucks v Yanks final.

    Go on Canada 🇨🇦

For fans of absolute carnage, the women's 1500m speed skating semis was great fun.

bloody stupid idea having the race on ice, its often a bit slippy.
  • Every time i turn it on there's someone lobbing themselves of a ramp of some kind.  I've just googled it and apparently there are 60 different skiing events!

Makes you think it's probably best to just skate at the back, ride conservatively and just watch the riders fall one by one until your left to win a medal.

The Tkachuckle brothers vs Bennett and Wilson. If it's a blowout in the third, I'd lay money on there being a fight.

Canadians were more adventurous tactically and didn’t make any big mistakes whereas our young lad missed a couple of shots. Really difficult seeing their interview at the end. Another shot in four years.
