    But it will help him get over the nightmarish frustration of being dropped by Parky for crucial games v Gillingham, Carlisle, Yeovil etc!!!

    Exactly a year ago this weekend he was sitting on the bench for us at the Priestfield, while McLeod started. (Needless to say, we failed to win against a team now in div four). Doh...

    He's now just said Shelvey will only get ten mins in the second half before Hodgson subs him.

    Obviously he got a briefing from Parky before the match.

    I wonder if in turn Townshend gave Parky some sartorial tips. Perhaps PP will now ditch the v-neck and turn up at Carlisle in a Travolta/Townshend gigolo shirt ? !!!
