By the letter of the law, rightly or wrongly, they were perfectly entitled to.
Especially considering the equality laws that have come into place which effectively means anyone who is offended by what you say (even if not directed at them) can make a complaint etc etc.

As true as this may be, destorying someones career is not the way to go about 'freshening things up'.
I hope they get rid of Keys as well. I have no idea how he's managed to get a job in football let alone keep it for so long. Both of them had ridiculous egos, how long have we been doing this for?

Thankfully, no woman will ever have to put up with this Neanderthal again. Glad he's gone, but it's not really the reason they sacked him unfortunately.
