Lovely. Thought we would struggle in the opening two home games, Big Bobby Peeters had other ideas.

Just as well they got that late goal - wouldn't want to go top too soon ;-)

Strange bringing on Fox and not Morrison, but we have to trust BP

How many point until we guarantee safety? Fantastic result. Would never have dreamed we would take 6 points from Wigan and Derby. Bring on Huddersfield!

Fantastic win. Said at the start of the season we look good and could potentially go for the play-offs and this just backs it up.

Right decision to tighten up the left side as Derby were doing their attacking down the flanks

  • Cheers Red, great up-dates, made it really exciting. Would have taken a draw before the start against Derby. This could be a very interesting season!

According to the Beeb, Derby had 63% possession. Seems rather skewed to me. We won though so who cares?

Another strong result, such a shame we couldn't hang onto the two goal lead and stay top - now I have to revert to saying that league tables are meaningless at this time of the season.

3 points against play off finalists, both strikers score and another cool penalty from Jonjo. Amazing.
  • Fantastic result - Peeters could easily be sitting there with 3 straight wins.

Wonder if the 'Suicide Squad' who were predicting inevitable impending doom after the Welling defeat in a pre-season friendly will have anything to say about this?

What looks clear is that we may not have the biggest squad - we are still 2-3 players short (especially a striker) - but we have brought in some serious quality in Bikey, Ben Haim, Buyens, Vetokele and Gudmundsson, certainly the highest quality players we have brought in since leaving the Premiership in 2007.
