One of the few players we have who can do things worth watching.
Never really understood why crocks of shit like Vetokele can return the stats he did last season, yet escape the criticism and condemnation that Watt receives.
Watt by comparison had just as big an impact when he joined as Vetokele did at the start of the 14-15 season and yet gets dog's abuse from some quarters.
Genuinely don't understand the disparity. Because it's not as if Vetokele is a better footballer; nor a fighter.

Think probably because it's been reported that Tony is a bit of an arse? Personally think he's brilliant though, would love him to stay.
I do not understand the situation. From my opinion Watt is talented and has a lot of skill to offer. My confusion is why can he not play for us. Why can another club manage him but we cannot?

Not sure any club has been able to 'manage' him so far.
Tony is a bit of an arse but could do a great job for us with a proper manager rather than a network fuckwit in charge. I'm certain that Curbishley could have motivated him. More talent in one leg than that total waste of space Vetokele.

What club has managed him? He's had four clubs in the last two seasons.
Tony reaching out an arm to Johann in that pic... Does this mean they've kissed and made up? Are they best mates again? Will they both stay for next season and be roommates in League One?

Having said that, I really hope we keep him.
When he went to Blackburn didn't he say something along the lines of "I love the club & the fans but can't stomach what's going on behind the scenes"
I hope he stays .... trouble is I won't see him until the fuckwits have sold up & gone.

How do you know they manage him?. Wasn't at either loan club that long.
He'd terrorise the defenders in League One. Trouble is, he is a bampot and unlikely to conform to a team structure for any great length of time. If players are not on his wavelength he probably tells them all about it, if coaches are talking shite he probably tells them they are talking shite. Team-mates get upset & coaches want him disciplined or thrown out.
On a Scottish theme, one of my workmates is from Easterhouse in Glasgow and told me a great story last week -
He was playing in a junior cup semi-final, against a team with Steve Evans in the opposition, (yes the fat man). It's 1-1 in the last minute, a slim Steve Evans broke away, rounded the keeper and slid the ball towards an empty net, at which point a little boy ran on from the side of the goal and kicked it away. The ref waved play on, Evans team were running around claiming a goal, my mates team carried on playing, went up the other end, Pat Nevin who was the right winger in his team, put in a cross and the ball was headed in. 2-1. Pandemonium. The referee eventually restored order, Evans team kicked off and the ref blew the final whistle. More pandemonium.
He also had me in tears with stories about Pat Nevin. Apparently his language & vocabulary at the age of 13 & 14 was so different, he caused some real comedy during matches, with classic comments like "That was a preposterous decision referee" or "That decision was lamentable". Referees weren't sure whether he was taking the piss. Opponents had never heard words like it. Nevin didn't think anything of it, as it was his normal way of speaking.

Well, Russell Slade wanted to keep him at Cardiff, so will be interesting to see what happens if he rocks up in SE7.

Cardiff were all set to sign him before a transfer embargo was imposed . We were sweating on the money at the time to bring fresh faces in .

With Gudmundsson off this summer I imagine it makes the coast clear for Watt to return.
His wages will be high, but there is a bottom line here. He has the ability to rip a hole in any league one defence and if we want to get promotion we need that! There is another reason for keeping him in that his value has plummeted, but he is a potentail premiership qulaity player - by letting him play his way out of a poor period, we could release transfer value in him! It must be cheaper to go up first time than take a couple of seasons to do it, or even go down!
Despite all the rumours of disruption, I'm led to believe the players like and rate him and want him to stay. He's a young guy who falls out with someone every day and is best friends with them again the next. I understand he had a falling out with our Interim CEO over broken contract promises and it appears he's being moved out as a result.
A motivated Tony Watt would tear League One defences a new one.

Do these emojis mean 'I'm gone'?

Anyway, Harry Lennon now wondering how long this will last - assume he means Watt on Twitter. Watt, meanwhile, reckons HL is on the beers in Spain.
