Great win with that "feel good" feeling back. What a change in confidence and belief from the confusion under Robinson. Long may it continue. Might even believe we have a chance for the Play-Offs again. If we do, I feel we have a chance of promotion IF we maintain this form. We have the players all we needed was the right direction.
Get in. Much more positive and I echo @Manicmania ‘s comments
Looks like the team were happy to play a bit more positively and with a bit more aggression. Certainly what we needed as fans, a bit of positivity on the pitch
I think KR leaving probably threw Plymouth as I would imagine they probably lined up and trained all week to play a team staunched in 4231. They, like the rest of us had no clue as to how we’d line up.
I just want us to go for it every game now. Bowyer has nothing to lose and I hope he gets the team to buy into that mantra
From struggling to a 0-0 draw against relegation threatened Fleetwood to a comfortable 2-0 win against a team who had 40 points in their last 17 matches.
Great first half, much improved on the last few games (watching the stream).
Not a straightforward 4-4-2, looks more of a diamond. Don't seem to have set positions, both Aribo and Reeves have appeared on the right.
Far more energy, commitment and aggression out there today. Players look positive and up for it. We can play it short or go more direct. A higher tempo. Two up front. Not afraid to go for a long ball through the middle to try to get in behind, something we didn't like to do under Robinson.
Long way to go but it's what I hoped for. Keep it up.
Not much to add to what I said at half time. We kept going and didn't really look in danger of throwing it away. Had a few more good chances, another day it could have been 3-0.
Think it shows some players at least wanted to see a change of some sort. With Robinson's 4-2-1 obsession that could only come from a new manager.
For now I can carry on dreaming of a takeover on Monday and a Wembley victory 20 years after the last one.
What to add to the above? Just that everybody seemed to know what their job was and did it, every minute. Including Naby Sarr when he came on. And so many 50:50s won. Plymouth bullied out of it at times, and that's something I never expected to write this season.
If all the rumours are true the new Aussie owners have a huge call to make, even before they officially take over. Why would you bring in Kewell now, after that?

Because Crawley scored three at home today...............Bowyer out!!!
KR may well have had all the players needed for promotion, but not necessarily in the right positions. If the unimaginable were to happen, and we get up. That would be a damming prove of Karl's ineptitude.
Lee done, nothing special today, he gave us what we, and I hope he thought was the way the team should have been setup a long time ago.
Three up front: all excellent. Put in a real shift, and got close to each other. Almost a perfect performance by Zero as a no. 9.
Three midfielders: giving a bit of freedom to Aribo and Reeves, due to the superb work by JFC behind them, worked wonders. Both got forward well, but didn't shirk the defensive responsibilities. MoTM performance by JFC, who got to know every blade of grass by name. As my mate said, "Pirlo-esque"...
Back four: tigerish. Bauer and Pearce won everything in the air, and didn't miss much on the ground. Is that the end of Solly's career? Yes, Djiksteel is raw, and playing out of position, but his ability to get back and tackle is out standing. Special mention to Page. Not played a game of that intensity for a long time, running on empty after about 55 minutes, but still stuck at it, and did his job...
Special mention for Amos, who pulled off one of the saves of the season in the first half...
The best first 45 mins for months. No way Magennis can play instead of Zyro - the lad won 80% of his challenges. Pearce and Bauer looked pretty solid all game.
Brilliant win but shout out to the two centre backs who were absolutely immense. Taylor was a horrible little prick slinging elbows every time he went up .
JFC and aribo ran it with the latter being my MOM. Zyro was brilliant and Ajose worked the hardest I've ever seen . Dijksteel was excellent also
Certainly showed we are a good side when we want to be.
Couldn’t follow very closely today, so could someone please bring up to speed on what our shape was, who played where and what the general style was?
Seems we finally got a new manager bounce. Wasn’t convinced we would on Thursday but reading Richard Cawley’s article this morning it’s clear KR had become divisive in the dressing room.
Seeing Crawley’s result today and in the last few weeks do don’t exactly excite about the prospect of Kewell coming in next week.
Must be something about ex Charlton players 1st game in charge against Plymouth - Powell’s was a 2-0 win against Plymouth as well.
Nice to see a Charlton team play a decent bit of football and put some commitment in. Bowyer was right, he promised 100% effort from the players, and they delivered his promise.
Reeves looked a different player. The change in formation (the change that everybody else apart from the previous manager knew needed to happen) worked a treat. JFC was back on it again as well, which is key for us.
Ajose put in a real shift, was unlucky with 2 good attempts on goal. He linked up well and put in a real “team” performance.

Everyone seemed to suddenly know what's expected of them.
Simple...
On to the next one !!!

Excellent performance, great result. 2-0 flattered Plymouth.
Everyone played well, special mentions to Zyro and Ajose up front and Dijksteel at the back.
Only one match, one win, but that was a complete transformation from what we've seen in the last few months and bodes well for the next few weeks.
I now declare the 2017-18 season open for business - get the red carpet out, Lord Bowyer could be leading the boys out at Wembley.
Brilliant result .

Well done to the team and the coaching staff.
Perhaps this season isn't dead after all...

Ajose looked like a good player too with a very clever partner up top with him.
