Bielik is an investment. He’ll be sold next summer for a profit.
Oh they will be selling alright. Fire sale, unless they are promoted.
In 2016-17, Derby had a £23.3M operating loss, and offset that by selling off £16M in players. Their actual loss was £7.1M. But in 2017-18 they had a £29M operational loss and an actual loss of £25M. But they did a financial shenanigan where they sold the ground to themselves as another company and are claiming that they did so at a £40M profit. So magically..... they were profitable last year! Total bullshit. They are running on fumes, breaching FFP Rules to gain an advantage, and the FA should be punishing them for such crap.
Excluding their magical sale of the ground to themselves, and estimating their loss for last season, their 3-year loss is approaching £60-70M, when they are not suppose to exceed £39M. But here they are, splashing out more cash and hoping to get promoted before fines and bans and point deductions can be imposed.
It's one thing to get outspent by bigger clubs who generate more revenue. Its another to be cheated. I doubt they get promoted this season. I hope they go into Administration when the music stops. They and their moaning fans will get no pity from me. Screw em.
Mel Morris just sold their ground to himself for £41m.
This meant Derby could announce a yearly profit of over £14m. They are not in any danger of violating FFP in the near future.
FFP rules are supposto count "relevant turnover" vs "relevant expenses." Clearly this is a ridiculous get around. Can't wait til ManC sells their stadium and training ground to themselves for £5,000,000,000 and then spends it on Galacticos without FFP breach. This is a farce. And the EFL and others are waking up a bit. I hope. But if not, and if more fans don't start calling this kind of crap out, those fans will be getting exactly what they deserve for their lack of diligence. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/sky-bet-championship-clubs-accused-of-selling-grounds-then-renting-them-back-to-exploit-ffp-rules-nd332mdzl
Mel Morris selling Derby’s ground to himself to get around FFP explains some of replies when they announced Bielik, I hadn’t realised what had happened.

If I get a valley pass at what point does a replay of the game become available ? Because a live game for me is at the witching hour but if I could watch it three four hours later that would be perfect.

They don't upload the whole game, just highlights which are roughly 10 minutes long
Maybe not the smartest move to name the player at whose house you fitted an alarm and who told you about their current feelings on a fans forum where everyone can read it.
Oztumer playing today and been paid. I assume he is not a fee anyway and we would have to pay a fee. With our budget. No chance we can't afford 1p. Tragic
Bowyer still saying we have to sign 4 or 5. I’ll take that as a good sign just because if he didn’t think we’d get 4 or 5 then perhaps he’d have said 2 or 3.

Just dont' think it's going to happen. Think we will sign 3 - 2 midfielders and a striker. Just hope Bowyer doesn't let Morgan go out on loan until we do indeed have 5 in. We made that mistake in January losing Clarke and Ajose on top of Grant without having a replacement. We need bodies and Morgan is a decent prospect anyway.

Not sure Ajose and Clarke would have featured much
Bowyer: “I’ll obviously be on the phone for the next four and a half hours on the drive back speaking to (Head of Recruitment) Steve Gallen and then we’ll have to just see what is around the corner. We’ve still got to bring in four or five more players, we’re going to get stronger as well. We’re working constantly and hopefully we’ll get them through the door."

But it left us short. Wasn't a fan of Ajose in the slightest and Clarke didn't seem rated by Bowyer, but would have been better than having nobody when Igor was injured. Parker replacing Ajose was fine, but we lost Ward, Grant and Clarke as attacking players too and only signed Williams.

You might want to delete it or get @admin to.
I hope for his sake the club don't win their appeal against his decision to hand his notice in and walk for free.
