It’s not entirely Roland’s fault, Bowyer has said he doesn’t want to lose players on frees, which is of course good business sense.
What is Roland’s fault is no money is reinvested and the contract offer is probably shit anyway.
If the money for Dijksteel doesn't go back to Bowyer to spend, other than to Duchatelet. I would rather keep Dijksteel to the end of the season as it would be a great achievement to be 21st or above. If he then walks who cares because I would be amazed if Bowyer stays beyond this Season as the non sale of Charlton persists.

Agreed. To me there are 2 separate issues here.
One is Roland's gross mismanagement of the club and contracts, disinterest in he club and selling players to cover his losses instead of giving Lee a reasonable (dare I say it Millwall level) transfer and wage budget
The other is whether we should accept a bid of £2m for Djiksteel if the player has only one year left on his contract and wants to go (which seems to be the case - Boro IS a step up from us, that's the current reality).
To me the problem isn't the price - which I think is decent - but the lack of money being given back to Bowyer.
Can’t believe the amount of stick Lapslie gets in my opinion it was between him and Pratley for mom Saturday. With him doubling up with Dijksteel on the right his tracking back is second to none.think he could play Rwb.I think bowyer has more trust in Lapslie than Morgan at this moment.

A player who has done a fantastic job in league one and is off the mark already in the championship, why would he stay at a club who has absolutely no ambition to be successful. He will not be here next season, I am certain.
I think the Taylor situation is a little different,he is nearly 30 and although I have faith in his ability to adjust to the higher level,other potential buyers may see it as a risk,so hopefully he wont be going anywhere.

I believe unless there is a takeover or a complete turnaround (yeah right) Taylor will see out his contact and leave for free, which like Bauer I would rather happen. I’d rather it went in a players pocket than his.
