Annoying thing is my tickets turned up today but speaking to the ticket office today those tickets will be void because I'm waiting on email tickets that may arrive tomorrow.
This is a shambles.4 -

he just said to keep trying the number...
I guess it's possibly about 100 people.
If it were 19,000 there would be marching on The Valley tomorrow.
He was told they had 1,000 e mails between them.
However, some of those will have no doubt been resolved by the time they look at them.
Some of them will be duplicates from people sending more than one.
The phone staff were selling tickets & dealing with queries until @2pm.
So it's probably somewhere between 100 & 1,000.
Most likely nearer 200 people still without tickets than 1,000 I would guess.
Remember, many of those e mails could be people with other queries regarding refunds, upgrades, attire in lounges and any number of other queries.
Mind you none of us know & hopefully they will all be resolved by tomorrow.2 -

I’ve said it before and I will say it again. This has really fucked up my excitement for the build up.
I’ve been trying to sort this all day.
Yes, I can get my ticket on the day. But it means I’m dreading going and waiting. No pre match beers etc4 -
When did they make the announcement about printing at home or picking up from Wembley.
Was it from day 11 -

In the circumstances @robroy, maybe buy a cheaper ticket off someone on here (or any ticket) and get a refund on yours via a complaint after Sunday. Covered End had suggested this earlier. That way you can relax a bit and get some drinks in, and deal with it as a complaint after all the excitement. And I doubt you'll be the only one dealing with the problem like this. A few have probably completely given up already.0

Get a ticket on here and do a chargeback on the credit card.
Taking the piss.
Selling tickets that are post only.
Got the front to tell us if not received by certain time you need to wait for an email or spend hours on the phone to them.1 -

So this is the one fcking everything up. So I’m the one who’s gonna have to sort it. As I said. Build up has been completely ruined0 -
Has anyone got the ticket email thus far?0

It’s my understanding that Royal Mail like to clear out any undelivered post remaining in their sorting offices on Saturdays.....particularly if there’s a Bank Holiday Monday coming up......fingers crossed for everyone waiting, that that will be the case.0

why can’t the posted ticket or emailed ticket both be valid until one is used
I don’t understand why the posted ones become invalid once you are waiting for an email of e-tickets
its like any print at home ticket , you can print the same one x amount of times but once it’s first used the other wouldn’t work .
i presume the actual tickets aren’t individually barcoded or whatever they put on them now .
fingers crossed for all to receive these emails .
still no one has put up they’ve received one
when you look at this it makes me think twice about ordering others tickets if there is a next time , I wouldn’t want to be ringing the 1 in a 1000 attempts it’s answered phone line or waiting for emails or possibly having to queue up at Wembley .
i ordered 25 tickets through my accounts and another 4 for a mate on his sons account using my credit card in 4 separate transactions (thankfully all arrived in the post) I’d be fuming with all the pissing about that everyone’s going through .

If I'd known what a farce the whole process was going to be I wouldn't have bothered buying tickets.0

In this day and age with the standard technology available it would have been a disgrace if only one person had been in the predicament that so many unfortunately seem to be in. Even if the anxiety and hours on the phone weren’t enough, the big day will be affected by having to (probably) queue up at Wembley for ages rather than revel in the atmosphere with mates. As disgraceful as it is unnecessary with print at home available for the vast majority of users. My heartfelt sympathy to all involved and I hope you all get it sorted. A print out of this thread should be all your credit card companies need to sort out refunds later.4

I went out last night and it’s the third time since my daughter has been born we’ve had a sitter. I spent much of the night checking emails and this thread.
As I said totally ruined the build up for me.1 -
Can whoever gets one first let us know please1
-
I really hope everyone gets their tickets today. I know how I would be feeling if I was in this situation, so let’s just hope it all gets sorted so the people affected can finally get to relax a bit and look forward to the game tomorrow.2

After reading all these posts (really feel for you...doubt if I'd cope that well in your situations) I really hope that if we ever reach a play-off final again the club/agency...or whatever can do better.....best wishes to all those that are having such a lot of hassle and hope you get tickets sorted.1

Genuinely hope today flows well for people getting tickets
