I emailed and they got back 30 minutes later to say I’ve been added.

I replied back to say can I have a rough idea when as I need access to a printer. Nothing back.

really has taken the enjoyment out of it all
It really has. I emailed the tickets@ email address at 10:30 and apart from the 48  hour auto-reply, have had nothing. Over 300 phone attempts and can't even get in the queue. I've just tweeted the club to alert them and if I've heard nothing by 1pm, will go down to reception in person and start throwing a few f*cks into them.

  • This is a ridiculous situation. I've taken the day off work to ensure I'd be in when the post arrived. So far nothing so have tried calling the club for the last 3 hours and still can't get through. Have now emailed so hope they come back to me

  • Couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery
  • I emailed them on Tuesday asking if they would confirm I can collect from Wembley and no reply whatsoever. Doesn’t help that their crappy database mixes our old and new addresses together either.
  • Latest update from the club on Twitter is just a repeat of old info
  •  I will not blame the club staff, as they are dealing with which ever ticket sales company  Wembly stadium use. So are constrained by there proceedures.
  • The deadline has been pushed back to 9pm this evening to arrange duplicates. The phonelines are very, very busy, so thank you for your patience.

Bullshit, at some point the buck stops and you need staff to run the phones... which dont work

Thanks for advice but if it's possible to "print your own" why not offer this as an option from day one?

Waiting for Mr Postman to arrive is a bit retro even for old technophobes like me.
That for me is the most baffling thing since the regime. If they can be printed at home why the fcuk are we anxiously waiting for the postman?
I was waiting for mine although somewhat derided for saying I would prefer to ring or email before Friday as like many others
the only thing the postie brings in the morning is advertising crap real post anytime until 3pm I had real problems trying to phone before even for the playoff tickets. Mine did arrive yesterday afternoon but not from CAFC SE7 but from Ticket Zone agency Barnstable North Devon it seems as though the whole thing is geared up for working perfectly  but as we know that is not always the case sincerely hope you get yours in time Mate.

Fans ringing were told from the outset that it was 9pm.
So why did CAFC tell the fans it was 2pm ?
It just added to the panic and desperation.

It's not bullshit. The phones are manned by Ticketzone, not club staff.
  • Just got my post. Frigging Tesco club card letter, but no Wembley tickets. Phone line it is. What's the email address? Sorry of on an earlier post.

Well in that case it shouldn't take 48 hours to get an email reply then as all the staff are free to use the computers.

Send another e mail, some people sent one this morning & have had a reply. It's obviously chaotic.
I'd also keep ringing, you still have 8 hours.
  • Do we get charged everytime that answer phone msg pops up ?
  • The club Website says do not e-mail, but use that phone number.

It may, but fans have had more success via e mail.
They are probably saying that because there are so many e mails, they won't know whether e mail queries have now been resolved, so are wasting their time looking at them.
  • I got this response

“I have added you to list and you will receive the print at home once we process the list”

i then asked for a rough eta as I need access to a printer. Not heard back.

    I assume they are mobbed.

Really hope i get the link

They told others it would be after 2pm.
    So I'd expect it between 2pm & 9pm.

As I mentioned on another thread...
My ticket hasn’t arrived and I’m leaving for London first thing tomorrow. Been on the phone using the number shown above and after a 45 minute hold was told to email tickets@cafc.co.uk to explain and ask for a duplicate ticket for collection at Wembley. I’ve done that and received a reply saying that my mail would receive a response within 48 hours.

Got a message back from tickets@cafc.co.uk asking me to send an email to tickets@cafc.co.uk tomorrow when they'll be processing duplicate tickets. Any lifers going to Kidbrooke Beer Festival tonight I'll be the fat Scottish bloke in the corner banging my head against the wall and gently weeping.
Sent an email this morning as directed. Got a reply. Please phone the hotline! Losing the will...
Got through on phone and they will email a print at home ticket "sometime after 2.30". Told him (the bloke had a suspiciously Sunderland-like accent!) explained that I'm not at home so don't have access to a printer (I'm pretty sure my bnb host will be able to help out before you lovely lifers offer to help) but he did say that I should be able to scan in using my phone. Fingers crossed...
  • You shouldn't need a printer if you can open on your phone and scan the QR code.
  • Why o why was all tickets not just sent via email?

  • Finally got through after 60+ calls. Advused will get an email for print at home tickets and to wait until 8pm before ringing again if not received. Fair enough. Worker said she'd got 47 emails to reply to and pile mounting. I don't blame the staff, they are just cogs in the system. keep ringing those that are trying 😀

Even if you ordered 4 tickets?

That would be just too easy
  • It appears that tickets may now be off sale, which makes sense.
So the Ticket zone staff can now concentrate on dealing with the queries.
