The thing I have never fully understood and would like explained (possibly I missed the detail before) surrounds the Valley and Sparrows Lane. As I understand it the football club (controlled effectively by Nimer) owns the players contracts, academy. It also has a long lease on the Valley and has an option/commitment to purchase the Valley and Sparrows Lane. The holding company is still owned by Roland and owns the Valley and Sparrows Lane. The directors loans are secured by a fixed and floating charge against all of the above assets.
So I would like to fully understand 1. The terms of the option/commitment to buy the Valley and Sparrows Lane ie which is it? and what happens if not completed within 6 months 2. What are terms of the lease? rent, full repairing etc?
Is there any point in this meeting continuing, it’ll muddy the water further still and given this is going to get even more messy could be problematic for the trust?
