Yet another two points dropped against a Plymouth side in terrible form. An unfortunate, scrappy affair in which we conceded two goals through abysmal defending.
Maddison’s thirty-yard screamer was the goal of the game. Not much else to rejoice in.
Now, no sense wasting your time sat in front of a screen. Disconnect and find something more life affirming to do!

That was crap. And if anyone says otherwise they must be watching a different game to me.
I never, ever want to see Pratley in the centre of defence or Matthews at left back again.17 -
IF Sangaard ain't getting an itchy ring piece now, then perhaps he ain't as shrewd as we think...4
-
Never play Matthews left back again.
Get Steve Brown on the coaching stuff.
Poor performance against a poor team.
Just need to get some consistency together and we would be well up there.
Such a shame we lost our defence at the start of the season as it has really held us back.14 -
Hard to say, but we're just not that good I'm afraid.
It would be good to not see Prately at CB again, get Deji back in and push Pratley back into the middle.2 -
Not in promotion form are we. Defensively poor and don't create enough chances. 5 minutes of added time and didn't create 1 chance. Teams around us will now have games in hand on us. We haven't taken our chances so far0
-
Defence poor. Pratley embarrassing. Right footed left back.Diamond didn’t help with Watson so deep and so slow.Forster-Caskey class and Washington good second half.Target of play offs still strong.0

Not good enough
Maddison looked brilliant however1 -
We have the players that are good enough for this league, we’re just not using them to the best of their abilities. We’re not even using them all at the same time. Just play the strongest team from the first minute, attack with intent, and try to get out of sight before going defensive (if you have to go too defensive at all).19

It's a consolidation season.
Some of our signings have not worked out as expected. Management team are learning on the job. Stay around the playoffs.
We just need to get away from these "Manager favourites" situation that has developed.
MM has been putting chances on a plate for 3/4 games now. What a special piece of skill and strike today.3 -
Usual hat onAnother lacklustre performance and two more points dropped against a lower side in the Division. Far too many misplaced passes. Looked unbalanced with Matthews on the left and our diamond formation in the first half was too easily bypassed. Bowyer taking far too long to address problems. Substitutes made a positive difference and the goal by Maddison was superb.Christmas hat onFuck it. Never mind, have another drink.Let’s hope for reinforcements in January.11

We really remind me of Sunderland in 2018/19
Not enough going forward. Not enough at the back.
Severe lack of pace, ageing midfielders. No mobility.Manager that’s lost all his dynamism and as a result is producing a turgid style of football that favours draws.
Hopefully it doesn’t mirror the Wembley result.13 -
Said in the match thread that the line up made no sense at all. Square pegs in round holes for absolutely no reason.
Decided to play our left back in midfield, so we had to play a right back (who can’t use his left foot at all) at left back.
Had a defensive midfielder at centre half while we had a perfectly fit centre half sitting on the bench.
On top of the square pegs in round holes, we had our most creative player on the bench against a team who have conceded 34 goals, and our super sub who has scored all his goals off the bench - starting the game.
I was one of the people on here who was backing Bowyer to the hills after the Shrewsbury game but I’m losing patience.9 -
Like everyone else I want Bowyer to be a success at Charlton especially as he stood by us under the clowns.
But his ridiculous team selection and tactics are costing us dearly.
Not sure how much patience Mr.sandgaard has with Bowyer.
We shall find out soon enough.14 -
More weird shit by Bowyer yet again, had enough now, wouldn’t care if he got the bullet now.8
-
MM goal aside, just third division crap. Thought Steve Brown was a very good pundit / commentator, love how Curbs keeps saying WE "praps".4
-
Piss poor.
I've always been pro Bowyer, but I'm starting to doubt whether he can get us promoted again.1 -
Oh, but at least Surrey FC shipped a few again!0

Bowyer continues to make some strange decisions. Square pegs in round holes, Maddison on the bench. At least the pre match build up was good.

Really poor. I’m confident we have the players required to win this league but there’s a lot wrong with the setup.11
-
Unfortunately thats a point rescued...
Looked good attacking today but defensively we're all over the place
Apart from Maddison's bastard of a shot we didnt look like scoring in the second half
Desperately need Inniss back at the very least to give the opposition questions in both penalty boxes for set pieces!!
Got to question if Oshilaja is going to be on his way out next, Pearce was out longer but is back sooner???4 -
Whatever it takes in January to get a striker....DO IT!
Only joy from this match was Maddison's goal. The guy has class.4 -
Curbs picking out the positives fron that match:
- came from behind ... twice
- unbeaten in four
- fair result for us
- game in hand3 -
We are staying up, say we are staying up....... !Good point against a fellow struggling team.2
-
Regardless of the result the more I see of Maatsen the more I like him. I hope he isn’t recalled in January. .1

Yet again we make a team in terrible form look excellent.
The individual performances were woeful. Watson is gone, Pratley was embarassing. It's so depressing watching these two old cloggers start every single game.
At 2-2 in the final 5 minutes, notice how they didn't sit deep and invite pressure? They were putting us under pressure. They pushed out and played keep away. Made it look easy.
And but for a scrambled goal from a corner and some brilliance from Maddison... We'd have lost comprehensively.
As someone said a few weeks ago, it's so hard to identify with this group of players. They make it so hard to watch them at times, let alone anything else.
As for LB, him changing the lineup and formation every game would be fine if it meant we were set up correctly for each game, but when are we ever?

Just do not understand why Matthews was left back,no left foot,if Purrington not fit just leave Matzaan there and play another midfielder.Far too many goals being shipped, our problem was going to be not scoring but it is the other way round.4
-
Look at individual players, you can see they all have quality or quality enough for this league - but together as a team it's currently not clicking and that's all down to one person at the moment.
Almost preferred watching us last year when you knew we were heavily outgunned. At least there was an excuse in those games for just competing. Now we are competing with teams that we should dominant agains.8
